@datedthot fail.. Original came from the minds of John Kender and Fred Ebb. It wasnt so popular at the begining tho, it started to be after Frank Sinatra performed it for the first time public.. its also like quasi-anthem for New York, and after long it wasnt Frank Sinatra who was performing it. Then peoples started to make it more popular by mixing it in lates 90's, and so, some time later - Ddagers do so to.. and they are not the only ones.
