  • wat does 60 reps mean? does it mean i have to do each exercise 60 timeS?

  • Yes, rep=repetitions

  • reps = repetitions = number of times you do something. the reason "reps" is even used is because you do things in "sets". Sets x Reps = Goal ( like 4 sets of 25 push-ups(reps) would be 100 push ups total(goal))

    did that clear it up?

  • reps = repetitions , how many times you lift the weight , or how many times you do the exercise ( for pushups 60 reps = 60 pushups )

    Set = an activity that you do X amount of times before you stop for a break.

    rep = an amount of how many times you repeat something in that activity.

    So basically 5 x 10 on biceps would mean you would lift a dumbbell 10 times and then have a break of 30 seconds or 1 min, then you would lift it again 10 times and that would be your 2nd set.

  • I think thats bullshit ,to have a shape like her u need:

    6 months training with weights ,at least 5x a week .

    Massive reduced sugar and fat intake ,much chicken ,fish , less vegetables ,and nearly no friuts (nearly but u nedd sugar ). And paralell u can do this kinda training ,trust me ,i know what i am talking about

  • well maybe , but its not that hard for everyone you know , genetics plays a huge roll,

    and your body type if your a Mesomorphic then you can gain muscle very easy , but also get pretty bulky.

    but if your an Ectomorphic then your almost naturally lean, and can get ripped easy

  • Actually if you just ate clean, meaning cutting out all processed foods, and eating nothing but whole, nutritionally dense foods LIKE fruits and vegetables, lean meats and protein sources, complex carbs and healthy fats. And as for a training regimen, a great balance between weights and cardio will build muscle and burn fat! It's a lifestyle change.

    I use to work out a lot but stopped 3 years ago. I gained 60 pounds since then. I'm fat now. I'm at 288 pds. I just stopped caring.

    You fail you pick yourself up. You fail again and you pick your self up. And every time you fail it gets a little harder to pick yourself up. I've failed so many times I'm at the point where it's like fuck it. I'll stay down.

    (i am a 25 years old female) i am doing 3 hours of exercises a day(which include cycleing class,body combat,body steps and body pump) and i am on a low salt,sugar,oil carb diet..(i would normally have unflavoured oats with skim milk in the morning, 2 wholemeal bread with a piece of low fat cheese and turkey and dinner i would normally have salad with no dressing or miso soup with veggies)

  • Habiebiee--omg slow the hell down before you break something! Seriously! Your over exercising and over training. Your body will not lose weight this way. You need to do this.

    Eat 3 meals a day- around 300-400 calories each! Protein, veg, 1 carb around the size of your hand.

    Than do what i do 2 protein shakes as snacks with fruit added in if you like.

    You need to also eat fat but healthy fats- olive oil/ veg oil lightly if you cook vegtables. Eat raw/ cook mixed.

    Do not eat below 1300 !

  • It's a simple math game -- how many calories do you take in and how many do you burn ... stay far away from carbs, eat a lot of protein, get some fat burners (caffein pills or other supplments that get the heart pumping), and drink a lot of water.
