@tokyo1crates I think the reason Klever didn't take 1st that year was because it seemed like his needles kept skipping at the end of the set and sorta ended weird. But IMO Klever would definitely have taken it because it was a lot more musical and just way doper.

certain phrases/beats loop correctly due to their timing (bpm), or almost correctly which you'll then see the dj correct by doing a delay manually w/ the hand, etc. hope this helps

yo, the effects used are found on the mixer itself.flanger delay low cut ,reverb and many other ones .

nah mate, every sound effect you hear is done by the record only...... the mixer they used at the dmc's was always the technics dmc mixer.... no effects whatsoevr...... these boys are just freaks!

There IS an efx on the Technic mixer, it has an EQ filter sweep efx when you twist the bass & treble knobs.

I know because I have that mixer and it's the only scratch mixer that I've had that has that efx....

I used to have the Gemini ScratchMaster PMX-15A, the Gemini 626 and Vestax 05Pro......

now I have the Technics SH-DJ1200 and the Vestax 07Pro but none of them had that efx except the Technics mixer!

By the way, I'm selling the Technics mixer for $300.

I love this mix, the continuity of it through out was second to none but Kentaros was much more exciting. It's hard to tell really, there was a feeling with this that Plus One had already won before it even took place.
