I love his use of stacatto to emphasize the ryhthm that Mariah Carey was singing in! He has a great ability to transcribe popular music on piano and even songs not meant for piano!
You can definitly play the piano. I personally don't like to play covers on the piano of music artists because it always sound so empty and monotone. I more a fan of Yiruma.
