Lagos is a hell hole in most ways- a Darwinian jungle with millions living in inhumane conditions. Despite a lot of recent efforts and improvements there are still almost no real green spaces and most of the public beaches are filthy. It is a renowned city of hustlers with almost everyone trying to scheme, cheat and steal. The police are underfunded, underpaid and poorly trained.

That's why I mention it in the video.  For being in the tropics, there is very little public green space in Lagos. Much, much less than in Abuja. Kano doesn't have much green, but there seems to be more space. Granted, they are much, much smaller cities.

Yes there are nice parts with parks and greenery and nice houses with big gardens, swimming pools etc but these are for the wealthy minority. The vast majority of ordinary Nigerians in Lagos live in very poor conditions and there is nothing shameful about acknowledging the truth.
