PERSONALLY, it's okay by me because it's her life and her parents approve. She's just living her life how she wants. I think pictures of naked children have nothing to do with the sexualisation of children. And sexualisation is exactly what Vogue, as a respectable and influential magazine is doing. Good for debate perhaps, but a tricky road.

Aside from the obvious, however, there are other major issues that should be addressed. Those issues being: 1) The child's state of mind and 2) the industry materializing young children. Instead of debating over what most believe, people should debate over what is known. This is NOT sexualization, but it IS taking children for granted. Many movies feature children in rape scenes. Does anyone hear anyone protesting against that? Don't condemn Art, condemn Materialism.

I saw those images on Yahoo because they wrote an article on this. I'm English and people in my part of the world are incredibly prudish but surprisingly Americans are more so. A lot of English people were saying how sexualized this is but I don't see any of that. I don't have the kind of mind set that would make me think a pre-teen is in any way sexual. If people see it as "Sick" then that goes to show how their minds work.
If that's the way they see it, then that's the way they are.

But what about the people that find this kind of imagery of kids attractive? You only took out the basic pedophilia but what about the other cast that will like these? Those people do exist, the ones that find a young girl who dresses up like an adult(just like the fashion these days anyhow). If the industry wants more and more of these then I just think the world's going to get so morally twisted.

the pictures is not what im the most concerned about. it's the fact that a 10 year old is in this industry in the first place.the fashion industry causes a lot of eating disorders for young girls.
and modelling at 10 is definitely going to have a negative affect on this girl and girls who also start modeling at that age.

To be honest, if I had a 10-year-old daughter I wouldn't want her posing in pictures like that. 15/16 is probably the very minimum age I would allow, but 10 is way too young to be wearing a cleavage top when you don't even have a cleavage :/

America loves to act offended at EVERYTHING, yet they are the country who tan, slap a cake of makeup on, put on a bikini and strut FIVE YEAR OLDS in front of 'judges' (a lot of the time grown men) in beauty pageants!

It don't take much for freaks to get off on kids, even kids who are not in a pound of make-up get attacked by pedo's, never mind the attention this child will draw. I am glad people in this country is upset. It shows that people still have a sense of right and wrong. Why invite trouble into this childs life. It is toooo sexy and grown. I don't care which country she from. No, this is NOT ok.

Because it was thoses people beliefs, ideals and morals in their own country??. If everyone do what ever they want to do just imagine how bad things would be for everyone.
