I'll never forget the first time I heard NWA and in particular the "crazy brotha named Ice Cube" talkin bout comin with a "sawed-off" and shit...... I was fuckin scared to death...I thought NWA was comin to get my white ass for sure... I LOVED IT...God Damn they were GREAT

i still think that De La Soul has had a much bigger impact on the whole than many recognise, it was a very different thing that they brought to the scene at the time, i love the gangsta rap, and it was so running the show at the time, DLS came along and gave us all something different,fresh and still with a message..peace
