  • MY FAV!!! my mom makes this every birthday :)

  • LOL...No two Albondiga recipes are the same. There are hundreds of variations. My mothers are nothing like Tina's nor like the others described in the rest of the comments. However, I still think hers the best I've ever tasted. We love what we know, simple as that. I also love the sounds of Tina's family in the background. It feels like your standing across the counter from a girlfriend while she cooks.

Good job Tina. Love your videos.

  • Thank you, my mother once showed me how to make Albondigas but that was many, many, years ago. She is a workaholic and has no time plus I don't want to bother her so thank you! =)

  • you rockkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk,,,keep up the great advised///

  • my grandma used chicken flavored bullion to make the caldo

  • yes this is an original mexican way of makin them

ppl dont understand that there is many ways of makin albondigas

dependin in the area of mexico you live in

my mom makes them with cheese in the middle instead of egg

n adds cooked rice n no chorizo or olives

but there is many ways of makin them

    keep doin a good job:)

  • Why in the world would you put boiled egg inside the meatball?! Green olives!! This recipe is not Mexican! My latin grandmothers are now rolling over in their graves!

  • @calady11 The mexican lady that I lived with in Mexico used to make her albóndigas with boiled egg in the middle and she used to call them "albóndigas con premio" and she said that that's how HER mother had always made them too.

So I'm going to have to beg to differ.

  • I also do my albondigas like that with boil egg. The only thing i don't use is the olives.. if u put a little bit of yerbabuena (mint) it would taste better.. i do white rice on the side and it taste so good. : )

  • Mom used to make this when I was growing up. Very different from the original style.

  • albondigas must be like Chili. A million ways to make it. lol

  • thanks i liked your recipe better than the rest i tried ,, good stuff

  • The albondigas I make are so different.... I do cook the rice and in addition to the rice I only use eggs and salt. That's how my mother makes them.....but I will try yours........they look wonderful. : )

  • It is funny..... I am a native Spanish speaker, and I always make mistakes when trying to speak Spanish....LOL

  • this looks really good and please dont listend to those people that dont have anithing good to say. I tried some of ur recipes and they all come out delicious!!! keep making these good videos thank u Tina!!

  • mizzmyers you shouldnt be rude. Anyway every family has its own recipe...my family adds egg and rice...I think Tina does a good job, she didnt grow up eating this food, because that she is awesome.

  • I would NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!!!! make this dish with BOILED EGGS or OLIVES or CHORIZO wtf!? You instead get 2 eggs, mix well and throw all the ingreadents together and mix well with rice. you can also try cutting a POTATOE or TWO into lil pieces and blending it in all together.

  • Okay, I'm not sure why you felt it was important to share this with me. If you have your own way of doing this maybe you should make a video to share with everyone. This is the way my mother-inlaw makes these and my family loves them and so do many of my viewer friends. Have a nice day and try not to be such a angry person out to find what people are doing wrong.

  • LOL... nice comeback!!!!! =) U do awesome and very informative videos!!!! Keep up the good work!

  • @TRpicapica thanks..for the recipe..and keep making ur videos..it helps out alot of people..and ignore those people that have nothing better to do but to talk..crap...ur great and like u said theres many ways of doing this dish..and urs is a delicious way..thanks you..

  • I'm so happy to hear that it worked for you.

  • I usually add a leaf of laurel, never tried it with the egg but I do add rice.

  • Not sure how I missed this comment, sorry! Laurel leaf sounds good.
