Yes, I have read the books, several times, and I do know that Jacob imprints on Renesmee and the vampires and werewolves work together to fight Victoria and her young vampires, and then again to defend Renesmee from the Volturi. By saying "Team Jacob" I simply mean that I prefer the character of Jacob to Edward. I'm not rooting for vampires or werewolves, I just like JACOB. I disagree that this is the "obvious truth" because I think it's perfectly normal to prefer a certain person over another.
