It's easy to make fun of such creatures as O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity, et al. but let's face, it's the warped mind of Mr Murdoch that allows these imbeciles to take center stage in what Murdoch hypocritically calls 'news comments'. Shouldn't there be laws against fascist foreigners owning our media and airing lies to a gullible audience?

Let's face it, O'Reilly's ratings are GREAT!! With the 65+ crowd that is. Angry old retirees who long for "the good old days" just lap up his propaganda pablum with a spoon. But the younger demographic that advertisers covet? Not so much. Fox gets twice the ratings of CNN but CNN gets 25% higher ad revenue. Why? no sense in advertising to 70 year olds who keep the tv tuned to the same station all day long.

Most Americans still believe that Hussein had something to do with 9/11 but the facts say otherwise. Most Americans in 1840 believed slavery was fine. Most Americans believed BushCo when they said that Hussein had WMD and active programs related to them. Most human beings once believed that the earth was flat and that evil spirits made you sick.

As you can probably deduce, being a "Most" anything doesn't equal top quality or truthfulness.

Its easy to assume something about a network whose big names are problematic assholes like O'Reilly. Though come to think about it, there might be a reason for it. Still I stopped watching the man years ago and now suffer through his Radio show so I don't have to look for the station for Jerry Doyle who comes on after him in my area.
