  • Get and inside look at the TED conference bags: tedbag.com

  • here is a teddybear...

  • lmao its like a kid on christmas with the knees crossed and opening clothes haha

  • to true, but wouldn't all of us?

  • Très magnifique! Dites bonjour à Tom Guarriello pour moi.

  • what a waste of resources and shameless promotion garbage... and they call this environmentally friendly ?

what was inside LeWeb swagbag ? same kind of crap ?

  • @anto1ne

"what a wast of resources and shameless promotion"

what do you think networking is? You have to promote yourself when you network. It's not like he gave a thorough description of the contents of the bag, just a brief rundown of his first impression.

As far as wasted resources, this happens every day. Would you rather they be wasted on people who are in no position to create positive change in the world? It's a freakin' bag. For hundreds of dollars to attend, i'd expect at least as much.

  • Loic i think i should do a video of my next gearbag i am taking with me to the shows...

    Cool video, like always

  • "to leave this planet without destroying it we need to change the way we think" and then you unpack a load of stuff theyve given you....kind of ironic really....I wouldve thought to stop destroying the planet we need to produce and consume less stuff.

  • I'm sick and tired of swag bags - have the whole garage full of them . Lately I just decline them. Lets do ourselves (and the environment & the economy) a big favor and skip them next time.

  • great video. lots of stuff. lots of promotional stuff to get the people who pay $6k to mention their companies. about $1k retail probably... oh well

  • see you at TED ´10

  • Plenty of books, DVDs and info to absorb later that appear relevent to TED subjects. Some gadgets that look pretty useful, if not for yourself than someone else (hint hint.) Plus what looks like a pretty handy bag.

Compare that against the swag bag handed out at the Emmys, Oscars, Tonys, Garammys that around around $50K-$75K each.

  • Do you think that the swag bag and its content worth half of the participation fee?
