Developing infrastructure in Mexico will stop the Mexican immigration, will be far way cheaper to create jobs in Mexico than to deal with social services here.

No, they're not going to stand up and stop this, or even speak out against it. This is a "Christian" country, and a good majority of these people believed that, by God, they must obey their government because their government was established by God. They'll fight it a bit more if a democrat goes against what they want, but as long as a "Christian" republican proposes these laws, the masses will obey.
