My life is burdened every day by problems within my own family, and people at school. It is hard for me to see God's presence in my life, I may now He's there, but I rarely realize it.
I decided to start my day with this video because it was on my "recommended for you" list. The part about the legos prompted me to share it with a friend who loves to build legos ^^ Just like that, faith is shared through common interests!

Sort of like what happened to Joseph, he was sold into slavery and betrayed by his own brothers. He was sent to egypt to become a slave. While he was there, some more bad things happened, but because those bad things happened he was able to become second in command of all egypt. All have sinned and fall short of a Holy God and His wrath abides on you if you die and He gives you justice you will end up in hell forever. 'm 14 years old. My parents don't discipline church, but i always walk to the youth group service about about a mile away to learn.. Because of their lack of discipline, I have never had a strong or true relationship with God which honestly is all I want. My problem is, I don't know where to start.. I learn something new every time I attend and it never has really helped me truly feel my love for God..
@PoorlyHappy Ask God for that relationship! I am not raised with Christian parents really either, but I still have a relationship with Christ! Ask God to guide you! Start in the book of John! I am praying for you!

@PoorlyHappy I know what you mean hun ... I walked away from religion and GOD a couple years ago. I knew GOD was there but I couldnt feel him sometimes but i'd pray when I needed something. One night I had a horrible nightmare so the next day I started going to church after being absent for like 8 1/2 months. I didn't know it then but everytime I went to church the holy spirit was growing in me, .....
@PoorlyHappy sorry it didnt let me finish m story.... ok where was I .. once I was even presented with a chance to sin and I couldnt do it I just kept thinking of what the preist said in church. Pray hun even if you dont feel anything . Ask Jesus to help you feel his grace , to help guide you to him. I'm sure you will eventualy see GOD's work. His timing is always perfect. I've often let my silly intellect confuse the idea of free will and the fact that God has a plan for me. In then end I finally understand that I have the God given free will to receive and accept the gifts Christ has in store for me.
