  • Someone requested a dubstep remix of this to reach out to wider audiences. You can find it here -> /watch?v=O7DQXUPYm9c

  • Climate change has been happening for the life of this planet - but not at the speed that it is happening now. We already have 1 degree of warming which has caused so many disasters - floods, famine, extreme storms - what will it be like when we get to 2, 3 or 4 degrees? Are we so stubborn that we have to wait to find out?

Great movie, but a shame that it portrays Reflex paper as a Japanese product, when it is actually causing destruction of our own backyard, Victoria's native forests.

  • Good animation. However, let's not push the lie that global warming is man's fault.Because it isn't.The fact is,we NEED forests & preservation, but we NEED to debunk the Al Gore lies that man's causing GW.Fact is that the earth heats & cools in cycles,we are in a heating cycle. Thus the earth's warming.Preservation is a must, but the politics & the UN MUST be kept OUT!

Agenda 21 is the worst thing to ever happen,& it's happening fast in the name of money,NOT preservation. STOP Agenda-21.

  • @MrHemingray Why is CO2 and temperature increasing at the same rate? Why are the polar ice caps melting faster than ever? Why are there more droughts, floods and fires than ever?

Big business tries to slow down the move to renewables and carbon pricing by paying promoting bogus skeptics that muddy the water of the debate and dilute the message the real scientists are unanimously purring forward - that the earth is warming and we're the cause.

  • @fawnha I am not saying that we're not helping it along, but man isn't the complete cause.Science has proven the earth is like a freezer & has it's thaw & freeze cycle. It was temperate in the arctic once with trees & plants,we had ice ages & the glaciers melted.Ice core samples don't lie about past cycles & what was growing/happening at that period. We are in a thaw cycle, the ice shef is going to melt, but it will refreeze. No doubt,we're putting out co2,& we're cutting too many trees to handle co2,

  • @fawnha output,so things need to be done to bring balance back to the order. So,yes,we HAVE had a negative effect,no doubt, but we're not the cause.

The problem I see is that politics & the UN is coming into this & politics & the UN must stay out.The UN wants to take our rights & freedoms away, that has to be stopped & the politics is making environmentalism about money & not about conservation. They want complete gov't control on everything.THAT is communism & socialism. Can't have it in America.

  • Great video, though I thought it gave the impression that Reflex is made overseas. I believe that it is made here by Aust Paper (owned by Nippon Paper), but definitely from our forests! Sign the Ethical Paper Pledge at ethicalpaper. We are using Evolve (shame we have to import it) and Nature's Paper (wheat) in our office - no problems.

  • Great Video simple but factual. PS "Evolve office" is 100% recycled paper that is very good for printing on all copier types

  • Well done!! Very good animation. I'm sharing it on Stumble, FB and so on. Thanks :D

  • Good work.

  • Hi Chris&Jodie,

Great animation, powerful story. Which brand of copy paper should I buy? I think I get the message about which one NOT to purchase!! If enough individuals make a personal decision not to buy "Brand X" that would be sort-of like a consumer boycott that would punish unethical corporate behaviour. Let's do it! ;-)

Is this here under a GPL licence so I could (hypothetically) make a DVD of this and donate it to schools in my area?

  • @voltscommissar Copy paper products recommended by the Wilderness Society: Evolve; Vision-Pure White; Fuji Xerox Recycled Pure+; OfficeMax 100% Recycled; Ecocern (100% post-consumer recycled paper scrap)

  • @voltscommissar Hi, thanks for watching. This was made for the AFCA, but I am sure that they would be delighted to see it circulated to a wider audience. If you want further clarification you could contact them. I'd love to give you their email but YouTube won't let me post it here!

Regarding a boycott; well, perhaps we can go further and view all of our daily decisions as affirmations of that which we believe to be true.
