im 26 now and i can remember the huge outrage this caused and I was like what? so what? some grew up thinking the same, but homophobic parents pass on and tell the kids the cycle continues
"Yeh sick man! Sick! SICK! Sick I tell yeh!" - What's amusing is that most straight lads these days kiss their mates in bromance more enthusiastically than that on a regular basis!

this was so hilarious i remember it. fucking bastards noddy was a certain fag but the ugly creep with long hair was also a fag but pretended not to be.
Brett Adams played the part of many teenagers. He acted out what they felt and all the homophobic people tried getting this series taken off TV. It was a brilliant show. If you knew the signs you could tell what they would lead to.
Brett is now in a group called Velvet Stone. Well done Noddy for making people accept gay people more and recognise teenagers can be too.

That was groundbreaking when it was aired in 1994. Was so brave for Byker Grove at the time.

@mrshef666 I think it was the old Warner Bros cinema where the new University is just outside of town centre next to Manors metro.
