i am a demolition & engeneering contractor foreman with many years of experience in operating under various conditions and many different difficulties, this guy is definately doing it right, an experienced operator can see the position of his tracks is exactly where they need to be!!!!
@freakyboie19699 are you serious? operating over the side of the tracks would be less stable, and the suction caused by the muddy water is whats causing such a problem to the machine as the verge is marshy
@GlobalMiningMachines for one stop smoking crack dude two stop over posting the same lame ass comments i lfet this for the owner of this video not some fucking troll who thinks they know it all online thanks for wasting my time have a nice day fool

that would give him less counterforce cuz he would have less to pivot from he did it right, tracks lined up would have just made it waaaay easier for him to pull his ass up
im a heavy equipment operator lol, of course have sprockets in the back and idlers in the front, but make ur idler diagonal to it, go try it man, if he streightened those tracks hed slide right in and hed pull his ass up so much easier, meaning that he wont have nearly enough pry force against the thing hes lifting..he did it right... :D
Silly you have no lifting balance over the side you capability is cut in half, i operate a pc300 every day lifting a lot of heavy shit. The tracks need to be parallel to the house. or its going to be real tipsy.
thats why i said have the corner of ur tracks like one of ur idlers in line with it and the undercarriage on an angle, and if ur in a pc300 and lifting lots of heavy shit, u should know better... in other words \ \ his tracks like that with the idler from the left track in like with the object hes lifting...basic physics man

line your tracks up damit
cowbubbles 2 years ago
why would he do that? you have the most counter force with the corner of the undercarriage lined up with the thing hes pulling out
shamanmant 2 years ago 2
thing is he needs to be straighter
cowbubbles 2 years ago
that would give him less counterforce cuz he would have less to pivot from he did it right, tracks lined up would have just made it waaaay easier for him to pull his ass up
