I am on that level too :P I just recently bought it. and yeah this game is sooo old I am sure old desktops werent as powerfull as your netbook :P if I ever got a netbook i would certainly install this game and probably some old command and conquers.

Like, I have a dual core 2.1GHz, 2GB of RAM, and a 6150e (integrated nvidia), and it gets around 10-20FPS on all low.

After reading the description, with Starcraft/Broodwar, it would be harder on the Netbook to run a simple virus than to play that game. That's just how old it is, so I wouldn't even worry about ruining the Netbook with Starcraft. :D
