  • a few years later i read robert monroes latest book which wasnt out at the time i had that experience. in it he said the he was floating over a park full of people who had gathered who were all on the same quest as he. and all were looking up at him coming down from above.

    and many other experiences.

  • @holypolyman Thanks so much for sharing your experience.

  • around 1988 i had an obe. i was in a park with wall to wall people all looking up at a star. then the star went dark, then lit up again then dark then it lit up real bright. then an anouncement from somewhere saying " ladies and gentlemen, they are here" the star came down and foated over everyones head and when it got to me it shot a beam of light into my forehead and i was blinded for a moment. when i could see again i was glowing with light and i knew my thoughts influenced the world.

  • Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. One day I'd love to visit TMI myself.

  • thanks for making this video i hope to save up some money soon so i can make a trip to the monroe institute. would you say everyone that was there or atleast that you know of achieved to have an "out of body expereince" so basically was it succesful for everyone? hope you can answer that take care namaste

  • @ICEMAN0o

Thanks for watching Corey. No I wouldn't say that everyone had an out of body experience. In fact, I don't think anyone there did have a traditional out of body experience. I wouldn't consider mine an out of body experience either, even though I was clearly getting information from a position outside of my body. But that's not to say that people don't have them there, they clearly do happen there. And almost everyone there was "wanting" to have one. . .cont.

  • @tristenmc thanks for taking time out to respond back to me. and yea the pressure to have one is most likely high since the people only have a limited amount of time to have one or days should i say. but just trying to get some info on it and the success rate because its like nearly 2000 dollers to even attend this type of thing ya know? and i personally don't have that much so thought i would get some input on it before i start saving up and actually go

  • @ICEMAN0o

Which I think put a lot of pressure on people to have a certain type of experience. This is the WRONG attitude to have comming there. There are many different types of experiences you can have, and an out of body experience is just one of them. But that doesn't even mean it's the most profound. There was one person that broke down crying explaining one of her experiences she had. . .it was just that powerful for her. . .cont.

  • @ICEMAN0o

I'll give an example of an experience I had. One of the exercises we were going to do was an out of body experience exercise. And some of the members there had stated that we should all meet at the crystal that was outside. I had it in my mind that I was going to the crystal. As soon as I laid down in my cubicle, I had a vision of a man speaking to me. We hadn't even STARTED and I'm having an experience. Well what to you think I did? . . .cont

  • @ICEMAN0o

I shoo'd him away is what I did. Because I had to make it to the crystal! Hell I wasn't even in Focus 10 yet.

Well needless to say, I had an unproductive exercise. That was the most disappointing experience I had, because I didn't "ALLOW" it to happen. I was forcing what I wanted as an experience. And that's the wrong attitude. The more open you are to ANY experience, the better time you will have. Good luck and I hope you make it there!

  • it strikes me that when people return from TMI their brains really struggle to make sense of their experiences because it is so beyond the physical brain

  • How do you go about using the Gateway Voyage CD's. Do you start with the 1st one and listen ONLY ONCE then continue onto the second ????

  • Well there is no right or wrong way, but I would suggest listening to the lesson and then trying it without the Cd. When you feel you can perform the necessary lesson without the Cd, you are ready to move on to the next lesson.

Also, use a journal if you are starting out. After the lesson, write down anything you felt or experienced during that lesson. Take care and Have Fun!

  • @tristenmc btw amazing story and hopefully i will be able to attend and reach high levels of consciousness once again thanks and take care my friend namaste

  • Your not in a mood while doing that video are you?

  • Oh you mean a focus state. I don't think so. I think I was in my regular state of consciousness. But these states of consciousness are completely natural for everyone, so it's possible for anybody to be in another state of consciousness during their waking state. What the Monroe Institute does, is allow you to be aware of them, and then explore them.

  • This is extremely helpful to me. I have been gathering info, comments, impressions, stories about the on campus Gateway Voyage to help me decide if it would be of benefit to me. I am leaning strongly toward attending the 6 day class later in 2009 of early 2010.

  • It's a great time, and after going I am looking forward to taking at least one more class there. Basically, you will get as much out of it as you put into it. I mean, it's not really designed to "change" you or anything. It's more of a "self" discovery vacation. Whatever you decide to do I hope you have fun! Take care.

  • Thanks to sharing. Please what kind of meditation you do to reach focus points or what meditation you doing normally? You meditate everyday? Sorry too much questions but i interested in your sincere talkings.

  • Szia, koszonom szepen hogy valoszoltal videomra.

I have been doing Hemi-sync meditation for about two and a half years now, and I usually do it twice a day. The sound from the Hemi-sync cd's train you to get into particular states of consciousness. These "states" of consciousness are named arbitrary names like, Focus 10, Focus 12, Focus 15. . .our waking conscious is named C1. It's just names that the creator of the technology, Robert Monroe, made up.

  • Now i go to watch the Hemi-Sync videos. You have the good courage to speak this things. Thanks kind man.
