  • "When you were my Students I've said you'll achive Nothing...

and I was right YOURE NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Ms. Bitters is also Smurfette!

  • Mannn she looks old for her age. Nice lady!

  • I had the great privilege of having a voiceover class with Lucille Bliss as our instructor in 1990 or thereabouts. Don't remember the exact date. I would know if I looked up info on Mel Blanc, because he died while we were in class. A sad day for voiceover. She was very sweet.

  • Its also Smurfette.

  • I LOVE Lucille Bliss, she is a unique & talented lady.

  • I loved the story of Thumper, The Rabbit back in the 1960's

  • DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM DOOM

  • She played the voice of Anastasia the only voice actor/actress alive from Cinderella.....crying shame, Ilene Woods died July 1st 2010 :(

  • @Prankster206 Don't forget June Foray who played Lucifer the cat and June's definitely still alive; she's returning as Granny and Witch Hazel on the new Looney Tunes Show coming out next year (2011).

  • @Prankster206 Also, William Phipps was the voice of Prince Charming in Cinderella. He is still alive

  • Her and June Foray are both voice acting legends.

  • do you think Lucille might reprise her role of Anastasia in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep?

  • The voice of Smurfette!

  • Great interview. Amazing how Miss Bliss KEPT that New York accent despite moving away at 4 or 5- compare the accent to Mae Questel(a lifelong New Yorker)! Funny that she admitted to being born 1916 but then claimed she moved to California when she was 12 years old 'in the '40's'! Anyway, she sounds like a live wire and it showed in her vocal career!

  • It's incredible. I hear Miss Bitters... but she's a nice old lady. She's pretty much the Queen of Voice Overs.

  • You worked with my father- in- law Russ Coughlan on Crusader Rabbit. Your paths brought you together. Some of us will never forget the work and risks you took at the beginning of a new industry. I used to love hearing everything pertaining to those humble beginnings.

  • She plays Miss. Bitters from Invader ZIM

    she sound JUST like her...woah!

  • Here is the First Lady of Voice Over Artists.

Regardless of her birth year, she continues to be the quintessential symbol of energy & enthusiasm. She laid track to females performing in animation.

Kudos & Accolades to Ms. Lucille Bliss

    Gotta love this lady.

  • This is history. We will never see this kind of talent again. Sad, but at least we have these video's to remind us.
