  • ma chi cazzo sei? fai schifo al cazzo, muori merdaccia

  • Original pressing (Reprise label). Good to go!

  • This was great. I think the sad commentary of this is that this is probably exactly how an album review of this record would have been done back in 1972...I was there, baby...and yes, I was hooked on the "underground" FM Radio station in my area where the DJs talked like they were stoned out of their minds most of the time. However, THIS was funny, and very reminiscent at the same time...GREAT JOB STUD! LC

  • @SilverHamer Thanks very much. Jethro Tull rules! :)))

  • @SilverHamer Maybe that's how things were where you grew up, but where I was then (Detroit) the DJs were musically literate, and intelligent. They played the album from start to finish as soon as they got it; I sat there, stoked, stunned and mesmerized (and not the least bit high) through the whole thing. Their comments added to the experience, not detracted from it.

What was even more stunning (and from a modern point of view, amusing) is that this album actually went to #1 in the US.

  • Thats the trouble with your generation. Try to achieve something.

  • @berrycccc I have. Thanks!

  • @berrycccc what generation do you mean?

  • 1st 2 minutes are pretty funny then it gets . . . like . . . ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz . . .

  • @cyberspore00 Are you serious? Idiot.

  • @Pasalaqcua Yes, I am serious. You see, it's called, "Having an opinion." About the time you reach your 11th birthday, you'll begin to understand that different people have different opinions.

  • ...I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW !!! Jeeeeez !

  • You nailed it

  • lol really funny and when you had short hair you reminded me of robert fripp and jim carrey hahaha, great vid keep doing more!

  • You look like Radar from M*A*S*H*.

  • they're all records whatever cd mp3 or vynyl 8 track or acitate or cassette they happen to be on

  • Great, hilarious ad-libbed record review, Larry. This is my fav album of theirs, I must have listened to it like 20 times, but most of their stuff is great. You should definitely do more record reviews. RECORD, not CD!

  • @ScienceLoveMusic Thanks. I am kind of obsessed with Jethro Tull lately...and I'm actually starting to appreciate "A Passion Play" and "War Child". Never cared for War Child when it came out, and I heard A Passion Play was bad, so never bought it until a couple of years ago. It just needs to be listened to a few times...

  • Thick As a Brick blew many minds over the years... not just yours.

  • Tull is one of the best. I also LOVE "War Child" now, which I didn't like as much when it first came out. Thanks.

  • WARCHILD is the best.

Maybe you can actually review the MUSIC for that Lp.

  • No way. I suck at reviewing music. :P

  • @PaulHartXYZ Stand Up is the best followed by Songs From The Wood

  • Don't ever meet Ian; he hates hippies.

  • I'm not a hippie. Thanks for the warning.

  • I'm sorry, this is the first time I see this guy and he scared the shit out of me as soon as I clicked it. Apart from that, cool video. Keep it up! Jethro Tull rocks!!!

  • "If I went to the store, and I bought a newspaper and I opened up the newspaper and there was a record in it I would go 'WOW MAN, there's a record inside my newspaper!'"

    Awesome

  • Man - too funny - ~AS~

  • You're hilarious! Jethro Tull Rocks!

  • yup.. Jethro does! :) How you doin KRONC??

  • wow man that was p-h-a-t bro nice review.

    Later, Gar

  • larry, i think you are groovy, man! you dig?

  • haha wicked love this new character, no script? good to hear, i don't either ;0)

  • Hey man- I like that character a lot! Haven't seen much of him. He reminds me of Janice from the Muppet Show for some reason! This was so good it almost made me want to go out and buy a record player! Sorry about you gettting choked up at the end!!

    Part 2 is the shiznit.

  • Far out, man!!! :)

  • lmao, your so groovey man.i mean really far out like pluto dude.lmao

  • I liked Part 2 better than part one. Oh and I remember a time when they would include records in the newspaper and on the back of cereal boxes.

  • Love Jethro Tull's music. :)

    Yes, I remember those days....not that I'm old. :P

  • Yes, I remember those days also. Good work Larry.

  • "So! Where the hell was Biggles when you needed him last Saturday?

And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you though?" ....

I loved the music but never understood WTF the lyrics meant, now I am older and wiser and I still don't. Hey Larry you got any 78's and 45's in your collection? I'm partial to the Boxtops, Paul Revere, Turtles, Little Stevie Wonder help I'm slipping into nostalgic shock. This video was far freakin' out, nails, out'a'sight man. Peace man.

  • "Thick As a Brick" is the only vinyl record I have (bought it off Ebay) Turtles are great. How about the Buckinghams??? Great 60's band, have all their albums (on cd...ha ha)

  • Nothing wrong with being behind the times. I still listen to my 8 track. :P

  • i love jethro! aqualung! al woodstock is a trip dude!

  • i want something big too man.. i wanna say oh it hurts.. like when that big needle poked me last week...lol

  • Heres a bit of trivia. In 2004 David Palmer, 67 year old, pipe-smoking, bearded bass player with Tull underwent sex reassignment surgery and completed a full gender transition and changed his name to Dee Palmer.

  • ohh you said freakin..my poor innocent ears..hehee

  • sorry Deb, this is my favourite character and skit so far

  • Your wife doesn't like the character lol

thick as a brick omg I think I was 9 or 10 when this came out
