  • How much do one of these cost? I think this would be perfect for my family camp 'cause it's way out in the country.

  • @CL137626 You can often find these on eBay for fairly cheap (in the $250-750 range), and sometimes for even less than that. The ones found on there might need a little TLC and preventative maintenance before they're ready to be put back in service though. Otherwise, Federal does still make this siren brand new for about $1,800.

  • @murrfarms Wow. That is cheap! Thanks. That would take alot of convincing for my parents to by me a siren, lol.

  • only 2 cycles of attack ?

  • @lilaj34siren I wasn't going to push my luck, especially since our siren system technically does only the first portion of this test (30 second alert), no attack.

  • @murrfarms manchester georgia needs one of them

  • @lilaj34siren Manchester just needs to stop being a bunch of sorry butts and fix what they already have. It's gotten so bad now that the 2001-130 at the fire department has quit working, and the Thunderbolt's blower has been dead for quite a while now. What they don't get is that it does not cost very much money at all to repair that blower and get the T-bolt back online. The 2001 probably just has a bunch of dead batteries.

  • @murrfarms the 2001 is dead the motor burned out the blower on the thunderbolt is fine i know its probably in the rcm... because the blower had a power drop every time the chopper regained power

  • At first i thought it kept the duck away!

  • @bigwillysmooth1 That may be why the geese no longer invade the yard LOL

  • Cool.
