@EBWReturns i was jk but it was fucking GREAT to see that fag get his face split and bleed like a stuck pig!!!! good fight but wished it woulda lasted longer though...
Great prediction video, I enjoyed all of it. Lesnar Valasquez is an excellent fight, regardless of how you look at it. Yes, Valasquez is more experienced and is better technically. Yes, Lesnar is huge with freakish athletic ability. Although it could happen, I don't see Lesnar panicking at any point in the fight, he has kept his composure amazingly well considering a severe lack of MMA experience. Will either fighter gas? If the fight goes past three, they'll both gas somewhat.
@RacMan93 Technique amplifies power. That's how Cain put Nog down. That combination was perfect in every way. He gets better every fight and with time, power will come. He's going to wear on Lesnar with the sheer volume of ground and pound he'll hit him with.
Not gonna lie man, probably the best preview I've ever seen you do. You made so much sense with the breakdown and everything that you mentioned in the video, unfortunately you're getting hate like myself for picking Velasquez, I think Evan is too, but a great preview man and an outstanding job done man. Great video man, really enjoyed it and ignore the haters man, great work as always man!
Great stuff man, every thing you said was well thought out, and researched agreed with all of it. I laugh at all the people hating on you for picking Velasquez, I've got the same hate as well, so has bcmvp11 as we both picked Velasquez as well BTW. We shall see Saturday night, take care dude, enjoy the fights.
your right......most people that are ufc fan dont know about mma fighting......cain is a tech fighter.......cain will win easy.......he does not waste energy and will finish him in the 2nd fighter
@fsufantampa Could happen but I think it's appropriate to mention the fact that Mir can't take a punch. Not a bad chin but he just mentally shuts down when a guy starts laying into him with shots. Don't think Velasquez will let Lesnar get a stockade on him and meet the same fate.
Don't forget the fact that Cain always comes in extremely motherfucking improved from his previous fight. We do not know yet. He might putting it all together twice as good as in your analysis.
and strength of Lesnar. And one of Lesnar's takedown attempts was when he was rocked. I think Lesnar will need to have much improved striking to keep Cain honest. I also think he may try to maybe get a throw from the clinch with his size and strength. I can't wait for Saturday. It's gonna be an awesome fight.
EBW, i'm not knocking you one bit, you always have intelligent, well thought analysis of fights, but here's my question to you...I think Lesnar will win, but when everyone is raving about Cain's cardio (which is awesome, very awesome), how do you think it will be affected saying Lesnar gets him down and works him from the top? I'm sure Cain won't be comfortable fighting off his back (as no one would be against Lesnar). It would be interesting to see how Cain's cardio holds up against the power
@rephy212 That's where Lesnar is obviously going to have most success. Wearing on a guy with his size, strength, and ground and pound. I think with Cain's balance. athleticism, and wrestling ability plus his underrated strength (this dude did ragdoll Ben Rothwell and slam Kongo over the cage), I think he'll be able to get back up early on in the fight. Not sure how it's going to play out late into the fight. That's what makes it intriguing to me but I still like Cain.
No joke - Lesnar has one additional weapon: the ref not stopping it because he is the UFCs big ticket. Anyone else getting pounding like that in the Carwin fight and it would have been stopped easily. Now if Brock gets punches in on Cain, expect it to be stopped quickly.
I also agree that Cain can and probably will win this fight. I think your prediction is very possible, but I don't rule out the possibility of Cain catching him in the first and quickly finishing him on the ground. I highly doubt Lesnar is going to finish Cain, which means his most likely chance of winning is 25 minutes of fighting and a decision. I just can't see Lesnar keeping up with Cain's cardio for 25 minutes. If Cain can't beat Lesnar, I don't see who will in the UFC.
I don't understand your wrestling comparison. Brock & Cain were both Division I wrestlers. How was Lesnar's competition in 1999-2000 like "girls" compared to Cain's competition in 2005-06? Brock went 106-5 in college while Cain went 86-17, was the NCAA Div. I pool of wrestlers in Cain's conference in 2005 really THAT much tougher than Brock's conference in 2000? I think all your points were very well thought out except this one.
@DJBigMC Heavyweight collegiate wrestling was just not as thick in terms of talent in 2000 as opposed to 2005, it's pretty simple. Cole Konrad and Steve Mocco, two of the highest decorated wrestlers of this generation (not just heavyweights, wrestlers period), were in Velasquez's era. Brock didn't have guys with that sort of talent level when he went around in the collegiate circuit.
this is one hell of a breakdown for one fight lol. I got Cain as well if he catches Brock like Carwin did Cain will pick his shots better and won't gas.
@joey1324 Big fight requires a big breakdown. Plus, I didn't want to leave many holes in my case for Cain that Brock fans could exploit. Debate team 101.
Good call sir.

@mmapicks There's a difference between gassing and getting tired. Cain will get tired in the later rounds but in my opinion, Lesnar will be gassed.

carwins hits alot harder then cain does and before the nog fight ppl called cain pillow fisted.
also herring is atleast 20 pounds heavier then cain
