I've used this song before; it's generally about the person hiding their sadness of someone leaving them behind smiles. So I was expecting that to be projected (like you could've done Takao being upset that Kai kept walking out on him, or even Hitoshi but Takao kept smiling anyways), so I was confused at the meaning of the video and I just didn't understand it.
