The emergency Provincial Director of the Aceh province was an official who was already a Provincial Director of the Darussalam Province (where shipping port and LNG resources are to the east of the Aceh Province) who was also an embassador here in the U.S. from '85-'87. His name is Tarmizi Korina or something like that. I met him in person before he returned to his province.

I just went from watching Riverfront Stadium come down...and then I watched this. I am laughing my ass off. Basically, this tower just fell over. What were they using...three dudes and a sledge hammer. Now they have to figure out how to knock off the top. TOO FRICKIN FUNNY!

That not in Dubai Friends, its true Banda Aceh a northern tip of Indonesia, the water tower is no longer use after earthquake and tsunami hit aceh in dec 2004.
to avoid disaster the goverment decide to demolish the building, the arabian quran song is from the mosque next to the tower.
