@TheDarksiderxXx by the way, how can I be jealous of myself? Cajuns and Creoles share the same culture, no difference and many have both ancestry including myself. So, I am very proud of my roots and know my history up and down and try to share that in the CORRECT light, I encourage you to do so also, be blessed now che, mo familie creole de l'paroisse pointe coupee et natchitoches et mo gain l'roots acadien, Guidry!
@TheDarksiderxXx you just summed up my point. If you are a true "Cajun" you would know Cajuns never settled in New Orleans, it was against policy under the Spanish. All direct French descendants to N.O. were considered Creoles, ask ANYONE in Louisiana, Cajuns will tell you New Orleans is not Cajuns, and Creoles the same. I encourage you to research your history, which sounds Creole, Cajuns came from French-Canada during the Spanish time frame and moved to Southwest Louisiana.
The city is a FRENCH-CREOLE town, they do NOT speak "CAJUN FRENCH" in New Orleans. In Fact, the Cajun ancestors were NOT allowed to live in the city. The Creoles spoke FRENCH or Louisiana Creole French. I mean really? This is so embarrassing for people to have false info, any Cajun or Creole will tell you New Orleans is CREOLE nothing CAJUN about it. Please learn a bit, before making videos...no pun intended!
