I have 2 x 22 Apricus collectors on my UK roof plumbed into a 250 litre thermal store, which is directly plumbed into my waterless heat pipe radiators I developed with the heat pipe manufacture I have used for my own brand of tube collector

I have no need of pump station, thats another German technology to add value to the system and a cost to the home owner.

I have no need of any glycol even in these past winters of -10c, a further saving.

Todate I have saved 35,000 kWh of gas over 3.4 year

I am mainly talking about their collectors. They are almost 1/3 more the cost of other collectors. You are right though, a good pump station will pay you back on installation costs.

Are you looking at the total installed system cost, or just the collector. A huge portion of the system cost is installation and other components. The Apricus components are aggressively priced. Apricus is focused on developing balance of system components like the tank and pump station that make installation easy, greatly reducing the installation costs, which can take literally thousands of the final installed cost.

4 years isn't short time from my perspective.

Putting a 20 foot house over my roof making it pay for it self in 2 weeks... that's short time pay back. We should talk more about MONEY efficient

Earler it was 7 years and before that up to 14 years before it makes up for what it cost you to set it up. 4 years is a massive improvement and it's only going to go faster and faster as technology improves.
