Please forgive us for the tease. This was a not-for-broadcast promo put
together to pitch the original concept. The ELP intro was used to create
the same anticipation it does at the top of Tarkus. Only a true fan would
be miffed at not hearing the rest of the piece - in fact I'd have the same
reaction myself. And if you're anything like me you're off to play the CD
right now. (Though I might go with the live version.)
