They finally came out with a 2-disc "Limited edition" of the Final countdown movie. The second disc includes a documentary featuring the "Jolly Rogers" aviators that did the flying for the movie. That video alone is worth the price of the limited edition dvd. Some great "behind the scenes" stories told by the aviators as well.

That maneuver at 1:35 was stupendous!!!!!!!!!! I think few jets in the world could execute it from that low speed and altitude. You are talking here about a supposedly underpowered fighter (the F-14A) in the 55000-70000 lb class and 62 ft long! Magnificent!!

@tony3461 Those TF-30s could be problematic..... the F-14A is still an amazing aircraft, with the F-14A+, B, and D being the best damn fighters on the planet.
