I grew up with this version, but ... compared to other REALLY awesome dubs (either Pocahontas in other languages or other German dubs of Disney films), these voices (except for Pocahontas herself) are really weak... Powhatan and Radcliffe sound so awesome in the English version ;) Anyway, this brings back childhood memories, thank you for uploading :D

0:11 klingt mir, als säng er "verroht" statt "verrucht"? aber beides geht. 1:37 "Du musst sie davon abbringen" wär vielleicht besser übersetzt als "You have to change their minds" oder vielleicht auch sogar "You have to persuade/convince them not to" . 2:15 "ein kreisender Pfeil" soll "a rotating arrow" oder "a spinning arrow" (naja, ich weiß, das zweite hat nich dieselbe Bedeutung, aber es geht viel besser auf Engslich). 2:30 "es ist noch nicht zu spät" klingt wie "es ist doch nicht zu spät"

@Vanthaera Nun lass mich bitte auch sagen, dass dieses Video mir sehr gut gefällt, und vielen vielen Dank, dass du's hochgeladen hast :3 Ich hab's nich gemeint, etwas aufgeregt oder so was zu klingen, aber das Charaktergrenze macht's wichtig, nich so freundlich zu tippen, wie ich normalerweise möchte. @Vanthaera oh und ein letztes Ding– von 3:04 bis 3:15 geht's so bei den Kolonialisten/Indianen: "Ihr Tod ehrt uns." und gerade danach is es "Ein mieser eklig stinkend Haufen Wilde sind's." (deshalb haben die Adjektiven keine Endungen; aber es is doch ganz ganz schrecklich schwer, sie zu verstehen, denn sie alle reden/singen zusammen, und man kann ga nix richtig hören). Und das Letzte, wenn die Indianen schreien (~3:14), vielleicht soll's "Mörder"? aber das is weder hier noch da. Danke wieder!

@Melilotona just to be fair, historically nazi's have been an inspiration for evil in this world. I think it would be a bit far to say that germans are responsible, but at the same time when ever you hear a villain's song in german I think you can establish the connection.

Und wenn sie dann "NEIN!!" schreit, dass der Chor dann singt:

Is it just a pure coincidence that the line original "that's what you get when races are divert" is translated into "i'm not okay with those who are profane" That's just so big of a difference in meaning:S My guess(and please oppose me on this if I'm wrong) whould be that German people do not like to be associated with any some sort of racial dogma, even if it's in a movie. Am I right in this?

@Melilotona I think Germany shouldn't be so "afraid" if I may say it like that. I mean, come on, it's over 60 years since the holocaust and second world war. Besides Stalin killed much more than Hitler... And Mao killed more that those two combined. The reason everyone blames the Germans is because they were the major factor that lost the war. The cruelties of the winners are always hidden, not mentioned. I personally don't care about Germanys dark past. Past is past

@LordVili I appreciate your comment, however, this is a very difficult topic and the comment section of a Disney video is hardly the place to discuss it.:) I agree with you in some points - e.g. that it is several decades ago, I mean, my grandparents were only children back then - but I wouldn't decide which dictator was the worst by comparing how many people lost their lives. Ich glaub die sagen was anderes, wo du "Gib nicht auf in dieser Hölle" meintest … in verstehe immer "in den staub (genuschel) hölle" XD naja, es ist manchmal nicht so einfach die Texte rauszuhören und ich versteh auch nicht immer alles ^___^ (oder die übersetzungen sind komisch? bei arielle gab es da auch ein paar seltsame stellen…)
