I have not heard of China doing any documentaries to highlight and shame Western countries' Human Rights Violation on their colonies....past & present. Moreover, Hollywood movies are always portraying the others as savages and heathens that needed to be punished. As if these people are so noble and righteous. What a load of craps.

The One Child Policy is one of the few that have come out of China which I think other countries should adopt (to a certain degree). Can you imagine if China had another baby boom? Let's imagine China's population doubled. Do you think all these children would have the life they deserve? Would they all be able to get work? A country with such a large population and high rate of consumption should take such a responsibility.

I agree with Gibdo88 to some extent. But, India also has population issues and here we do not force people to abort or not have kids... we teach in schools the benefits of having just 2 children per household. Almost everyone (educated couples) I know here have either one or two kids and never more than two. In 50 years from now, as more and more people get educated, population growth will substantially decrease. A slower but very effective way while preserving people's rights.

well, you are wrong. Ive just spent 8 years studying the population policies of China in detail. And yes, I do speak and read Chinese. And yes, I did live in China for many of those years.
