Beko strove hard to distance himself from the ANC. I believe the biggest mistake of the SA Apartheid was not the jailing of Mandela, but the death of Beko.

Steve Beko never agreed with the ANC, for those of you watching this video it might surprise you to learn they are different parties & Ideals.

With hindsight Mandela, Slovo, Sexwale, Zuma, Mbeki and the rest of those pieces of shit should have been 'permanently dealt' with,just like Chris Hani, to assure any sort of future for SA

as the youth of south africa we need to take black conciousness further. biko died at a very young age, he died for everyone. He needs to be honoured and the current government needs to show respect to him. not everything is about yo organisation. I know that they did it to win people to their side. the moment we become free mentally we'll see that we dont have what the likes of biko wanted. we have the past system by different masters.

First time I ever heard the brother speak. I only heard of who he was from the old Public Enemy "Show 'Em What You Got". This was another good brother who was removed from us for being a good brother.

he was killed while he was in jail. the government tried to cover it up saying that he killed himself/died of hunger, but after examining the body, it was concluded that he died from injuries inflicted by the police.
