Hooraaay!! This is what YouTube should be mostly about; enthusiastic amateurs placing their own recordings on line. House organ, huh?! I wouldn't mind being your neighbour when you are practicing, if you are this good! Cheers, and greetings from NZ.
Wow, that is a really awsome performance! :-) Especially the excellent footwork. I am practising this piece at the moment and I had my trouble with the pedal passages and made masses of marking in the score ;-) However I finished now. But I won't try to play the fugue because it is really difficult ;-)
Yes...the fugue is quite challenging; I haven't taken a "serious look" at it yet, but I love the fugue's subject and hope to play the whole composition eventually.
I'd like to comment further on this Tim. The person who disliked it is either no organist or very poor in his repertoire. I admit when I was young and learning Bohm's Praeludium and Fugue I was frustrated for several weeks trying to get it just right, but it paid off very well in the end. I really enjoy your work and, even though I'm semi-retired, one of these days I'll sit down and record a few vids of my own to post. Again, wishing you the best, and thanks for adding me as a friend.
@davewvu1 Thanks for your additional comments and for sharing your experiences with this piece. It's nice to hear that you enjoy my music. I look forward to the videos that you might post in the future.
I wish you the best as well; it's a pleasure to be your friend.
Very good Tim, I am also glad you improved the way you are recording your Allen, I would have killed 20 years ago to have an organ like that to practice on.
Thanks once again for the post. On the point of view of a laconic examiner, you played this with a 'well researched tempo', and I think your efforts are paying off. I wait eagerly for the fugue. It is so wonderful to see such proficiency on YT, and we as subscribers are privileged..

@RobCharles1981 Yeah, if people don't like something in my recordings, I'd much rather have them state what they don't like in a comment.
