fantastico........a parte che a meta qualcuno fa cadere qualcosa che con una acustica cosi perfetta da davvero fastidio....hihihii.....comunque il concerto bellissimo...
It takes a hero's courage to play solo in front of such an audience. and not just any solo but a virtuosic piece. and not to mention her playing...wow. guess I'm a fan too.
@oniuqasaile I don't think I care much what Julia fischer likes or not. I like whatever sounds pleasant to my ears (which also includes Bach, hi5 to Mozart's chicken and probably you)
and as far as I know I'm not signing a marriage contract here with Mozart. I know he was a stuck up drunk womanizer who thought the world revolved around him. but his music is still really good. I haven't even really listened to everything Mozart has written. but those that I have heard, I liked. Bach rules too!
@PersianPianist12 What's wrong with being a stuck up drunk womanizer? She would seem to fit the bill.
Wait a minute. If she frequented the man whores, that would be a problem. I meant for me.
She still plays Mozart's music 200 years later, incredibly well. Everyone agrees on that part.
Mozart should have had a bullet planted in his skull, but it's a good thing he didn't. How would his music be written with canoe head? Not at all, I think.
A stupendous talent, but this is not the best piece for Julia Fischer -- she'll do much better with Mozart when she's 30 or 40. To really appreciate Fischer, listen to her Tchaikovsky -- one of the greatest ever put to record in my opinion. Her playing is just radiant, wonderfully lyrical. Phrasing is perfect. Not that it's not fun to watch her play, but she looks stiffer than she really is. I appreciate Fischer more when I'm just HEARING her.
I like how the auditorium is in complete chaos before the concertmaster walks in for tuning. People throwing crap around and yelling obscenities across balconies.
You can see how much Julia gets into her music from 4:35 to 4:48. Her facial expression tells you all. I simply just admire and adore her for her deep understanding and involvement into her music.
She has given me so much pleasure in listening to her performances I just don't know how to repay or thank her.
Miss Fisher is a beautiful musician but it sounds like that orchestra needs a little work. They don't seem quite together. I don't know if it's simply the quality of recording or that the director was not very diligent during rehearsal.
Nice dress. I know that sound superficial but why is it that women soloist always get stuck with either the bad prom dress or bad brides maid dress look?
Laughable, some of the comments about this violinist. She is absolutely pristine. I wonder how many of them actually play on a high level. Too fast??? It is actually right a 124, a perfect tempo for this piece. Her phrasing is delicate, clear, defined, she new exactly what she was doing and did it wonderfully. I would call her a female Gruemiaux, only better!
Mozart was probably thinking of a female violinist to interpret this concerto when he composed it. I always wanted to hear just a perfect rendition of this concerto. With Julia Fischer as the soloist, this concerto was finally given justice, like it was tailor-fitted for her.
2:41 - Estornuda alguien de la orchestra
2:43 - "Saliendo de aqui nos las vemos, vas a ver"
Me siento alegre que hay gente que todavia toca esta musica. :)

@PersianPianist12, I would say that even Julia Fischer herself would disagree with you. Julia Fischer prefers Johann Sebastian Bach, as do I.
Even Mozart's farm chickens disliked Mozart's playing. Mozart's farm chickens were always like "Bach, Bach, Bach, BAAAAAACH!"
Mozart was a womanizer, research him.

Well. That explains why you're listening to your Bach CDs right now. Alone. Not.
So fuck off. You've got a date with your hand.

shes definitely quite good, indeed. I'd love to hear Esther Kim do this in comparison.

IMHO, this is as good as it gets. Any further would be perfection, and we all know it is impossible, correct?
I keep comparing her with some other older violinists, and Julia stands tall amongst the other greatest.
In my own rating, 100% being perfection, Julia is about 98-99%.
I simply adore her and all of her other performances.
Therefore, I do think she IS the BEST.
