  • When will US based missions begin to see the needs in Appalachia, Detroit, New Orleans, Flint, Pontiac, East LA etc? Do we need to go to Liberia or India?

  • @RainmanE350 , I cannot disagree with you more good sir. Those in Appalachia, Detroit, New Orleans, Flint, Pontiac, East LA etc are far more wealthy than the squaller of those living in 3rd world countried. I have sent the last 8.5 years of my life in these countries and have seen the depraved conditions. My Bible tells me that those who have been given much, all the more is expected of them and to go out and make disciples of all nations. America is expected to have a mission field.

  • Father, In the name of Jesus open up the eyes of our hearts and give us a spirit of wisdom, and of revelation in the knowledge of you that we may have the strength with power through you Spirit to understand this Love. We know you laid down your life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the church worldwide. Empower us to open up our hearts with the gifts you have already given us, to live for the people hurting everyday. Let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth. Amen.

  • I suffer from compassion fatigue...one can work oneself to death emotionally over all the hard and awful cases out there. I have done that for decades. God had to put me on a very long sabbatical to heal up from giving and working too much and don't give me all that crap about balance. Gee, where did all that come from. sorry.

  • Is it Ok if I add Greek subtitles to this wonderful video and upload it to my profile?

  • @prettybird367

Jesus probably wouldn't approve. But what does your own political viewpoint have anything to do with this video? On a side note, I was an accident, but I don't find this world very hellish.

  • @solarpoweredokapi Please dont take me as a know it all, I speak from what I believe. I'm not calling you wrong, but please consider my words. I believe the world is very hellish, and this is why. Why did the demons request of Jesus not to be cast out of the man, but instead into something else living: the pigs? It is because a spirit that is not of God suffers pain (to what degree I cant say, but I believe it is harsh) and the only way to get relief is from...

  • @clgal220 being in a body. More accuratly than pain would be the word desire. Its a desire that cannot be satisfied unless it is in a body that has the 5 senses. Children of the light have the same spirit, except its desire is towards God, and he fills our desires. Children of darkness search and search for something to fill them, but they can never find it. Which brings to mind Jesus saying "drink from my cup, and you will never thirst again." Hope this helps =)

  • @Joga, Go man go! I will go with you!

  • I encourage you though. If you don't like what you see, you be the difference! God will equip you to do so if you give him a chance. I only know of one way to do that, and that is by completely immersing yourself in the truth of the Word. Go to one life changed dot com and listen to some of my pastor's sermons, or go watch more of Eric Ludy's videos. Both are great.

  • pretty bird, I'm sorry you feel this way and have been exposed to such imposters. The only way to truly live this out is to be 120% dedicated to Christ. However, the enemy has succeeded is luling the church as a whole to sleep or to compromise where most people's idea of 100% is really more like 70%. That is why they are unable to make right decisions and live right, because they don't know what the Bible really says and how to really live this thing out.

  • It would be beautiful indeed if this is what Christians did. However, it seems to me that many modern day Christians persecute and revile the vulnerable, the different, the poor. Pregnant desperate women who don't wish to bring helpless children into a hellish life, homosexual couples who are just trying to love each other, minorities who work hard but cannot escape the system- they are all commonly attacked by so-called Christians. I don't think Jesus would approve.

  • I wish he didn't yell either but its needed to get a response. Do you believe God doesn't feel the same? What I appreciate is he's looking at the church, we are the problem. Many of us have become religious not looking to God and reading His Word. Many don't read the Bible outside of church, and we let men teach us instead of God. We look at the worlds problems instead of our own, but we need to let the light shine from the church and as the apostles let it flow outward to change the world.

  • this made me cry

  • Dear God. Hear my heart's prayer. I have been feeling it everyday now. Food is losing its taste. The TV, movies, and entertainment is losing it's value. Your Word leaps at me from the pages and my knees desire to buckle before your Name and worship. My Lord. I have seen all the hurt and pain and turned away. One inspiring message after another but no change. Oh Lord, be with me and strengthen my weak heart. I am done looking to the left and right to see a crowd following me. I'm going in. Amen.

  • @JogaHenryBonito God bless you and be with you!!!!

  • @JogaHenryBonito let me know when you start deputation

  • How can I help? how can I contact your ministry? thankyou.

  • This is a great message, I just wish he didn't YELL!

  • @classicsfan10 He's just obeying the command to cry aloud, spare not, and show God's people their sins

  • Wow. What are we waiting for? Jesus is coming back soon, and if we do not care for His children the way He cared for us, how big must His anger be. But how big is His joy for those who came and helped and fed those counted low on earth and yet highest in the Kingdom of heaven. This is the truth.

  • hey meen1tilldie i believe u miss the point...here the point FATHER GOD is calling u to get your lazy butt up feed the poor in your community we don't have to go far...it is about u and no other CHRISTIAN!!!!!!!!

  • Amen

  • PRAISE THE LORD!!!

  • This video reminded me why I am studying to be a missionary.

  • i pray that people would look at this video and take it to heart what he is saying in jesus name i pray amen

  • Mr. Ludy... did you adopt that little boy? Oh... I hope so. I hope it wasn't just for the camera... but in reality... you adopted him. Oh... amen.

  • Amen! Help me not to be indifferent to this, Lord. Help me to not.

  • 10 people were so full of the spirit that they accidentally pressed "dislike"

  • amazing video..

  • This... I know I am supposed to adopt when I'm older. I know it. Whether it be foreign or foster. I am. I've known this for years but this....reminds me of how important it really is.

  • What an amazing video! I am a foster parent in SD. Daily my heart aches for the children in my own community. We have 80 homes in our city willing to provide care. Sadly, we have between 45 and 65 children that come into state care monthly. 25% of sibling groups separated. Lack of people willing to provide homes. I think it is indifference & not realizing how bad this need is. Regardless of where (here, or in Liberia) we need to do our part. God has blessed us with so many treasures!

  • thank you for the reality check!

  • my camp showed this one too....

  • The humble ones God is looking for God said he will send again the spirit of Elijah in the last days Malachi 4:5 Now remember Matthew 17:12 Jesus called John the baptist Elijah not that he was Elijah but he had the spirit of Elijah meaning the same kind of ministry. Now God send William Branham the Malachi 4:5 Elijah come see for yourself if he is not Malachi 4:5 search William Branham on youtube or visit my channel.and remember you've been warned beacuse God loves you

  • How...powerful.

  • such a a sweet message,i can feel his pain,moving.

  • For the sake of His sorrowfull passion

have mercy on us...and on the whole world

    Powerfull message

    Let us search our hearts.

  • Love the sentiment. But why are all the heroes white and the needy black in the video? I'm sure this is not intentional, but pretty condescending.

  • @mandypanda00 It's not an that the needy are all black... just the target of concern that Eric used in this video was Liberia. If he had targeted depraved indifference in an Asian country, they would all be Asian children...

  • I loved this video but I have to say ONE thing - it doesn't take believing in Jesus Christ to heal from depraved indifference. What it takes is FEELING, CARING, and DOING for our fellow man. This video touched me and brought me to tears and stoked a fire already there to fight for these children and fellow man and I don't have or need religion. I have heart and soul and love and I have remembered that. Don't come to a belief to make that hurt in you stop. Use the hurt and heal the planet.

  • @beautifulmind546 I understand a little where you're coming from, but you see we don't think that religion just stops the hurt. Instead it does what this video does--intensifies it. If we don't believe that there's a God who hurts for those children, then why should we help them? Human decency? I don't think my human decency is strong enough for that.

  • @LearningLark So you are saying your religion is what you need in order to care and feel for other humans? Yes, human decency. Some of us have not been so conditioned to be so self involved that we have managed to maintain some empathy. Well, that's very sad. I can say my human decency is strong enough without needing to believe.

  • @beautifulmind546 It is not our religion that we need, we need our God. Decency is not enough, how can you say this? I have seen people say that the decent thing to do is kill all the poor people in the world because we will not be burdened by them and it puts the poor out of their misery! I've seen people give a few dollars to charity each month and say "it's the decent thing to do." Without the compassion of God, we will only do enough to be considered a "decent" job.

  • @camilo101 Well obviously those people you mentioned were lying to themselves. That does not mean that there is no one capable of compassion, empathy and honest decency that does not have or need god/religion. I find it sad that you do not even hold yourself responsible to humanity to have compassion and empathy aside from your religious beliefs.

  • Oh my Lord and my GOD! *tears* GOD help us help them! Have mercy on our depraved indifference! Move us the way your son was moved; to the point of actually doing something about it! I honestly have never felt so unworthy and so selfish, in all my life! GOD make a way for us; so we may make a way for them! Let us abandon ourselves to your cause, so that you may rescue those who are abandoned to the world through us! Have mercy...

  • To be short. I watched this whole video. I was truly touched. God Bless you.......Carl

  • The answer to 2012 is "AD 33"

  • 8 people thought it said dis-i-like!

  • WOW! This is SO eerily similar to the very disturbing dream (a nightmare, actually!) last summer! I call it the "Orphan Killing Dream". One month later, I got the nerve to finally write it in my blog, and God also began giving me a song called "The Forgotten", which is now being recorded on my new album "The Heart of Adoption". I CRIED as I watched your video! See the similarities... God is obviously SHOUTING His heart to many of us! beckywrightsongs.blogspot. com (Take out spaces)

  • i had to get down and pray for my lack of faith and ignorance towards this . GO im willing

  • He's right... Depraved indifference. I feel it. "Jesus Christ can change men to feel what he feels"

  • this is so beautiful, such a pure presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, go into the world, show His love, give His love to the lost and broken, all glory to God.

  • It's not just children! Yes, there are certainly children that must be cared for; fed; sheltered, but there are teenagers who might hurt themselves, adults who are depressed, mentally or physically ill people that are shunned. There are those that are lonely, fearful, hurt, angry, upset: THEY ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN. Be their brother, their sister: be there for them! Make the effort to change a life-- you'll save it.

  • Thanks for uploading! Convicting enough.

The background makes it hard sometimes to hear the speech though.

  • @LLThenu background music that is..

  • This really fueled my passion to help kids, anywhere. If anybody knows how I might go about finding mission trips and stuff where i can help then PLEASE let me know.

  • @KekioUsaki global expeditions does missions for kids

  • @KekioUsaki "The World Race" does an trips quite often. 11 months 11 countries. Its quite expensive but sounds like its totally worth it.. Also "Show Hope" does short term trips (which is little cheaper) I would love to go some time. I'm hoping to go to Africa this winter and visit my 2 sponsor kids. God Bless you for your heart for kids!

  • @Ray2theChel We ARE all called to serve—that's not the issue. It's whether or not we will obey.

  • They showed this video at Super Summer before we left. I can't stop watching it and these word can't seem to leave me head. I'm starting to feel like I'm being called to serve.

  • Amen pastor Amen, this is amazing!

  • Wow! I can't stop crying. I need to do some more dying.

  • G_d used this video to light the fuse in my spirit. Have now been called to the mission field to help fight this battle. So thankful. So very thankful.

  • @livinginps1611 That's awesome! I am on the same page as you. Where are you planning to pursue your dream(with what organization)? If you don't know yet, check out Iris Ministries :) ..That's who I'm planning to go with :)

  • wow..

  • Who are the two goobers that disliked this? :-(

  • But if anyone has this world's goods (resources for sustaining life) and sees his brother and fellow believer in need, yet closes his heart of compassion against him, how can the love of God live and remain in him? 1 John 3,17

Excellent!! To God be the Glory, Thank You for your labor of His love!

His Mercy, Love and Peace be multiplied to you~ Pastor Robin and the I AM Children's Village ~ Uganda.

  • WHy are they dying of hunger, when theres rich agricultural land around them. They shouldnt be dying of hunger. Wheres the fruits n vegetables the ground sprouts? They have been slaved by British n New World Order occult money power groups, groups that think their family names are superior than others. Family names that worship satan. illuminati blood lines. They are just destroying our world for greed n evil causes.A child shouldnt be dying of hunger rite now because his land is being manipulated

  • I wish I could do something! I will pray.

  • This makes my heart move...

  • "God is looking for more than the money of the saints. He's looking for the entirety of their lives to be spent for the weak."

  • This is directly from their site, and its relavent to the comments previous and profound in its own right

  • @stevecloud We are adopting from Ethiopia and I wish someone would ask us how they could help! There are so many families that want to adopt but can't afford it. Perhaps you could find a local family and donate to their adoption fund. You don't know how touching it is for us when someone shows us support whether it's financial or emotional. Adoption can be a little scary and definitely hard at times so if you're able to show support to adoptive families I know they will appreciate it!

  • There are so many ways in which we can help the least of these, but the greatest is through removing the damaging effects of tyrannical governments that economically rape the economy through bribes, taxes, fee, and power. I live in Tanzania and I fight for the people in every way I can.

  • i was adopted and god blessed me with a great christain family i totaly see were he is coming at

  • Wow...I am a youth pastor...want to do something...I already sponsor a child through compassion...is there more we can do right now?

  • @stevecloud Yes there's so much that you can do! You can hold fundraisers and donate the money to the poor and needy. Your youth group can get together and volunteer in the community once a month! Go to city council meetings and see what areas your city needs help in and get mobilized! There's so much you can do for the kingdom. Just find a passion and a focus and pursue it. The church is God's hands and feet, He is most well shown to the world through your actions.

  • @stevecloud Motivate your young people to service... God has put you in a position to influence young people. Imagine a group of youth 10, 50, 200 that have decided to live like their Master. Something like that could change the world. Go on a mission trip with them. When a young person realizes that their purpose on this planet is to glorify God and share His love with the world, amazing things happen.

  • Matthew 9:37-38

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

  • Foster parenting.

  • Powerful!!!!!!!! This video speaks directly to God' heart for those in need and how the body of Christ is to respond. What will it take for you to be moved to action? Each and every believer has a responsibility to respond according to what God puts on your heart. :)

  • And we are called crazy fairy tale chasers when we love other people & fulfill God's will. I might have a low title right now on the earth we living in. Wait until the Kingdom of God is returned fully on the earth. When I get my rank in the Kingdom of heaven that is a handful of years away that is soon to come. I will still love & serve those who yet don't have the immortal body during the 1000 year reign of Christ Jesus our Lord/King. A high title yet serve like a servant. Like Jesus did for us

  • made me cry this is so true how can we complain how can we be depressed fight for freedom help people be active be god do right

  • Wow. I'm sitting here crying, wondering why more people don't see this. Thank you so much for this video.

  • I feel like God is calling me to be involved in some greater ministry, and I've been praying that he would make it clear if He did. Our church just had a missions conference, and I felt Jesus asking me to take on the mission of living an example of his life in mine more every day. While sitting through the conference I said, God, tell me what you want me to do. One of my friends, unaware of the conference, posted this video on fb, and God used him to help me see what I am to do with my life.

  • Well said. The kingdom of God is "at hand". That is within the reach of the outstretched arm, those that are within our reach. Making a difference in one life is an offering to God. He can use that offering and that life to do what is unimaginable to the human mind because He is God. And that is what He does. He takes what little we offer and multiplies it to His magnificent glory. Just give Him what you have. He doesn't need it but He wants it because it brings us closer to Him.

  • Eric is not trying to make you feel guilty- that is the work of the Holy Spirit. Maybe you or I can't save every child or person. BUT each of us can make a difference in 1 person's life. Let's estimate that there are 500,000 Christians if each one helped one what a difference that would make. Christ didn't say we were responsible for every person. He said you are responsible for the people I place in your path- the ones you come into contact with. If you say you can't you'll be right.

  • I agree with Eric's premise. I feel convicted to start taking personal responsibility for caring for others who cannot advocate for themselves. I personally like living in my "comfort" bubble and I spend a majority of my time doing things that satisfy my pleasures. God is transforming my thinking and my actions to be concerned with what HE is concerned about. My end result from this video is spurring me to action (not to alleviate guilt) but to love others better. It's soul satisfaction!!

  • I disagree with Eric's premise. I appreciate his passion, and wish we lived in a different universe sometimes, but what he is accusing us, as Christians, of, is failing to meet an unreal and unattainable goal: feel as deeply as God does for all the souls on earth. Then find them all and ensure that they are not hungry, naked, or cold. The end result for most here is not enlightenment or conviction, but guilt. And that's is where the message will end. Guilt makes us feel much better.

  • @mtomato2 Unreal and unattainable how? We serve a Lord who loves a cares for all, He said He is a Father to the fatherless and He doesn't have a body in this world. What Eric means here is that God will do it through you and it will happen because it His will. I've seen Him speak and He is very passionate, very moving and very, very, very caring. God's spirit is incredibly alive in Eric's heart, this man is a man to learn from, He encourages the same for you and me

  • @mtomato2 It takes one at a time. Our friends adopted 2 kids from Rwanda, Christ really worked through that process to open the doors for us to adopt. We are in the process of adopting 2 from Africa now. That's 4 kids! Our friends have been challenged by our journey, and will be starting their adoption process in February. A ripple effect occurred. You do not have to save the world single hand-idly. But, you can change the life of one, and make a much bigger difference than you think.

  • convicted......

  • I want to come to Ellerslie so badly. Thanks for the superb videos.

  • Thank you for the tears

  • Amazing! It is a shame we do not have this desire to help the needy and the poor all the time!

  • You truly are stewards of the world. awesome. God bless you all.

  • So Touching!

  • This is AMAZING! and so true

  • I don't think you should attack the wealthy or privileged. However, it is true that the more endowed have a greater responsibility to solve the world's problems. Spend less time fighting over your differences, over evangelical nuances, and get up and do some good works for mankind.

  • Amen!

  • I am moved...

  • @jwcardin God bless you.

  • If you really do hear this message, get up and do something about it...literally, physically. If you don't, you didn't hear it. Jeri in Manila, Philippines

  • How inspiring....

  • This rocked my world. Thank you Eric for this powerful message. We sponsor 3 children through World Vision and Compassion International, but this video is prompting to pray about doing more......

  • God led me to rescue two children from a mental institution in Eastern Europe. If it is his will I will go back for more. Thank you for your inspirational message. I have a daughter in an EE orphanage. In my heart she is mine. She is one of the least of these. She is royalty. Fearfully and wonderfully made by God. I can't get to her. You call yourself my friend? I need you to get on a plane and get to her! Who will go get her and be a mommy to her for me?

  • @blessedwboys Good luck to you lady from one mother to another. Gods speed X

  • God has gifted Eric Ludy to directly call out the body of Christ to operate like it was called...to make a difference. This life is shorter and on the brink of eternity with each breath. What are we doing.....Christians?

  • This, is why i love the Ludys. They are incredible, inspiring, and challenging.

  • I'm completely UNDONE!! Lord God break us for these precious lives...for YOU my KING..and for YOUR GLORY!

  • Amen! That's all I can say... truly the Lord has changed my mind and is continually changing me.... =) Thank you so much for sharing this truth ~ there needs to be a spiritual reawakening of the Lord's Church!

  • Thank you for this stirring video, makes me want to pursue God so much more in the endless frontier and help others.

  • Amen. I have 3 younger siblings from Liberia.

  • wow! If I do not move then I am indifferent. Lord hep me to move, help your people to moved out of our "comfortableness" and make a difference. Thank you for your heart for the least of these. Give us your heart oh God

  • Is there a link somewhere to the full sermon? I searched, but couldn't find it. Thank you for that Eric...

  • I am a teenager, and I already know God wants me to adopt.

  • Loved this! We are adopting a boy from Uganda and I want him home so badly!

  • I posted too on my FB; may God move the church!

  • WOW...

  • More people need to see this. It's going up on my facebook.

  • Wow!

  • Wow....

  • WOW.

I pray that the Lord will move me with a burden, and help me to ACT. I want to help so badly but my flesh needs to die more, my goals need to be shaped into God's goals more, my life needs to become more conformed to Christ's image. Like, a lot more. My pride needs to be put to death. I need to wrestle with the sin in my life. I need to become BOLD.

    Lord Jesus, help me!

  • Excellent and moving

  • I cried when I saw this! This has shone light on my selfishness...and I am going directly upstairs to pray to God that I WILL GO and I WILL BE His hands and feet, wherever He needs me. Praise the Lord for this powerful video.

  • Harvest Blessings Centre Kenya says, I thank God for Eric & Leslie Ludy for creating and posting this powerful video. This video goes along with our passion to defend the poor and fatherless. Psalms 82:3-4
