@llamado23 isa pa look at the ampatuan massacre... meron bang ganito sa states?
@philip2go used to live in the usa, (San Fran) i am a fil/am and if you are talking about safety, it would depend where youare. while there is an ampatuan massacre here in the usa there was columbine, then there was virginia tech where 30 american students were gunned down in cold blood.....
I believe this film was taken 1983-84 based on mens fashion and the models of cars. Basta before EDSA revolution. The deep severe recession has already started at nagdeterioriate na ng tuluyan ang economy kaya nangulelat na ng husto ang Philippines..
in fairness to FPJ, lalaban sya sa mga chase scenes nina Steve McQueen, Gene Hackman and Peter Fonda. Iba talaga ang King of Phil.
@nathanjones14 Actually friend I was being sarcastic. I'm actually in the Philippines right now teaching my basic English to my country men and I'd much prefer it to life in the States, if it wasn't for my low salary. You're right though the US is full of prejudice bigots who can't tell the difference between China and Taiwan. In any case I don't wash puwet though your comment is funny. Also I never thought of myself as higher than anyone, apologies if you took offense to my comment.
@mein1010101 You know this doesn't happen in Philippines?? It's an action movie. M-O-V-I-E. Yes Philippines is sometimes dangerous but not always. We have peace and we Filipino's don't give away our country. USA is better than PH but still, we have peace and you often does not. See what the different when you reply your going to say yes we too have peace in america. And we in philippines do have peace aswell. You don't have to go in here go where you want no one is forcing you.
Yes,its an 80's Firebird.A few American cars were shipped to the Philippines by Military servicemen stationed there.
Also, the Firebird was considered a really cool car back then and people all over the world wanted one.I would think that a Filipino with a lot of money, who was willing to pay the fee, could have privately imported one,and due to the cars popularity with enthusiasts, a few probably were brought over or bought used from servicemen.
Nyahaha! Ang galing! Nagteleport sila! Nasa Osmeña going SLEX sila tas buglang nasa Ayala Ave. kaagad! Woohoo! Btw! Ang sarap! Walang traffic... at walang buwayang mga MAPSA!
Hahaha diverjun23! Talagang maraming kulang dito.
Haha.
Hehe.
after getting drunk and wasted during bouts in tia maria's over zombie, chi-chi, flautas, nachos with cheese dips, etc... hot cup of coffee and donuts ng dunkin sulit na!
I wasn't a drinker before and til now. I just tagged along with my friends to Tia Maria's pero ako ang sumasgot sa pulutan para may pakisama. Those stays at Dunkin' Donuts after parties til morning were enjoyable.
Haha.
ganun din ako... imagine inaabot ng madaling araw just to do that? hehe... ang hirap manligaw nun noh?
pero now... piso lang ang text... at may webcam pa... all you can see sa mga chicks now! hahaha. tapos girls now are easier to approach and have fun with!
Ang hirap talaga manligaw noon. I still enjoyed the challenge, though.
pero i still prefer before... tama ka... challenging. pero once napasagot mo... sweet success! i can still recall when a girl give you a wallet-size photo nya na may "dedication" pa sa likod... mawala na pera sa wallet wag lang yun! hahaha... a prized possession! hahaha!
yeah, but webcams and internet makes pursuit of a relationship a bit superficial now... kaya relationship now doesnt really last long... dami options eh... easy to get... unlike before... you'd think twice noh. haha.
Haha. I agree na relationships don't last long these days. It's a good thing that we're wiser these days.
O sige, man. It's been fun sharing old school Makati memories with you. I really miss those days. Hehe. I'll drop you a message next time I'm online (if that's okay with you). I'm off for bed now. Stay safe.
Paano nangyari yun, nasa Magallanes, tapos ang labas Ayala going to Edsa.

Good ol' days indeed ang mga yun! E naalala mo din yung Big Daddy's at yung Bobby McGee's (Tama ba ang speling?)? Kowloon kung medyo nagitipid sa pera. Haha.

yeah! i remember that too! hahaha... tapos yun taco bell, remember? hahaha.
diverjun23 2 years ago
Hehe.

yeah! hahaha...
after getting drunk and wasted during bouts in tia maria's over zombie, chi-chi, flautas, nachos with cheese dips, etc... hot cup of coffee and donuts ng dunkin sulit na!
how life was before starbucks! hahaha

I wasn't a drinker before and til now. I just tagged along with my friends to Tia Maria's pero ako ang sumasgot sa pulutan para may pakisama. Those stays at Dunkin' Donuts after parties til morning were enjoyable.

Haha.

tapos mahaba na yun pila sa likod mo and would tell you...
imagine how life was before cellphones! hahaha
diverjun23 2 years ago
Haha.
jazzrazzmatazz 2 years ago
ganun din ako... imagine inaabot ng madaling araw just to do that? hehe... ang hirap manligaw nun noh?
pero now... piso lang ang text... at may webcam pa... all you can see sa mga chicks now! hahaha. tapos girls now are easier to approach and have fun with!
hay talaga... those were the good days...
diverjun23 2 years ago
Ang hirap talaga manligaw noon. I still enjoyed the challenge, though.
jazzrazzmatazz 2 years ago
pero i still prefer before... tama ka... challenging. pero once napasagot mo... sweet success! i can still recall when a girl give you a wallet-size photo nya na may "dedication" pa sa likod... mawala na pera sa wallet wag lang yun! hahaha... a prized possession! hahaha!
yeah, but webcams and internet makes pursuit of a relationship a bit superficial now... kaya relationship now doesnt really last long... dami options eh... easy to get... unlike before... you'd think twice noh. haha.
diverjun23 2 years ago
Haha. I agree na relationships don't last long these days. It's a good thing that we're wiser these days.

O sige, man. It's been fun sharing old school Makati memories with you. I really miss those days. Hehe. I'll drop you a message next time I'm online (if that's okay with you). I'm off for bed now. Stay safe.
