Whether or not you find a Stealth Boy is all dependent on luck. There are no "guaranteed" SB drops. Got 3 on my first playthrough and none on my second. I was much more thorough on the second one. It's all luck.

hey guys, need some help great vid btw but, basicly ive beat this dlc and ive got a fuckin stupid bug so that when i use the gate to exit the sierra madre villa and i click the return to the mojave and then after a couple of seconds the screen just goes black, ive read that others have had this bug aswell, ive tried going back to earlier saves redownloading the dlc but still got the pain in the ass bug.

any help or tips ect. will help a lot - thanks

missiles instead of the stealth boy.playing on pc.And the contents of this locker are not "randomly generated" like some people claim.you must have gotten some kind of a glitch or mod to have stealth boy there.

I HATE THIS DLC!!!!!!!!!! i saw ur vid teaching how to scape with all the gold and trap elijah... i build a good character with jury-rigging and high medicine and guns skills... when i reach this critical point i have trouble finding the stealthboy... but then i see i need science skill at 50 to get it, BUT I HAVE 32!!!!! not even taking mentats and skill magazines it only gets me to 48!!!!!!!! HELP

You can also find the Stealth Boy in one of dean's stashes, i dont know which one but it's out there ;)

hey dude ur doing a great job im loving the videos and all but theres just one thing ... its twice now you've repaired ordinary armour with reinforced and it kinda annoyed me but shit happens :P anyways keep making great videos ..

@jamesmick1995 Thanks :D I explained this in another video. The reinforced armor cannot be repaired with the regular armor. The regular armor CAN be repaired with the reinforced armor. So I did what I did to fix my armor and reduce my weight. Savvy? :)

@19thHour Pretty sure it has something to do with the Jury Rigging perk, which you need a repair skill of 90 to unlock.

For those that say there is no stealth boy sometimes finding an item or not depends on what difficulty are you playing on try playing on normal,hard or very hard its what happened to me.

Because it's in a ammo box , it's random the dude just got ultra lucky , I think its something like a 1% finding one in either ammo boxes or Dean's stashes. Hope this helps people :)

It seems at least that particular ammo box that he retrieved the sealth boy from (at 7:20 in the video) is ranomized. In my play thru there were missles in it... pretty much useless. So none the less you may not be able to accomplish the acheivement in this way... (damn)

AAAAAAArgh...had a stealth boy earlier in the DLC, and I ended up selling it to one of the hologram vendors because I thought it would be useless to me...but then again...I could possibly still do this with my 100 sneak...

@MrTurtle691 You know, an optional sneak out is just one way of getting the bars. You can tote them to the force field door and drop them even though bigbad is after you. Then kill big bad and run like a crazy person back the way you came, grab the bar, and slow run through the remaining doors. Hard but I've done it. There are videos on this way, too. Less elegant, but possible.

@TheNinjer There is one other room that I found a stealth boy in. Look in Salida del Sol. I might make a video later that shows where to find it, but don't count on it...I found it a while ago and might not remember where it is :)

@TheNinjer Try this...Dead Money one can sometimes be found in an upstairs gun cabinet located in the SW corner of Puesta Del Sol South, past the ruined cafe. Must pass through The Cloud to get there.

@GauntBilly This is the other one I had found after I got out of the vault. It is in a building near the tower that has an upgrade for the holorifle, if I'm not mistaken.

@XXArmsOfNukesxX In the Suites. There are actually two such rooms (they're actually more like closets) where you can pick up a hunting shotgun, a lever-action shotgun, ammo, armor, and a stealth boy. Watch the video to see where they are.
