  • I'm saving up for a .45ACP Hi Point. The guy at the gun shop said the Green Hi Point will shoot harder and farther than the black one, but it costs $10.00 more. I'm gonna hold out for the Green one!

  • @sidewindermack Since when did the color affect how a firearm performs? It's the same gun that's like saying painting flames on your car makes it faster... I think the guy at the gun store just wants that extra $10 out of you LMAO

  • @UrbanKnight12 Well, he got it! I bought the Green Hi Point and I love it! It even came with Camo Grips! I have to be careful I don't drop it in the grass and loose it. I really like the Ghost Ring rear sight too!

I don't know if it shoots harder and farther or not as I have never shot a Black one.

  • @sidewindermack the only difference between the black one and the green one is the paint. how is it going to shoot "harder" or "Farther?

  • @UrbanKnight12 I don't know. I was just posting what the guy at the gun shop said. I have only fired 100 rounds through it, but so far it has not had any failures of any kind. I got 2 boxes of the cheap steel cased Russian ammo. I figured if it was going to fail it would be more likely to do so with that ammo, but it ran fine. I am going to try some 230gr. Gold Dot in it and see how it does. That is what I load for personal defense in my carry gun (Glock 30).

  • Two points should also be noted on Hi Points as well:

    1. You're really not paying that much for one to begin with (I paid $90 for a used 40 JCP)

    2. They have probably the best warranty on the market. If it does break, it gets fixed. It's simple.

I haven't put many rounds through mine yet (only about 250), but it has yet to malfunction on me.

  • I got the hi point 45 acp..i've put a little over 500 rds through it..with basic cleaning and oiling it's never had any problems....I feel confident it can do the job of stopping a threat if the situation ever comes up.

  • I don't own a hi point but I have a glock and an Xd that have had a few problems. Nothing is a 100% reliable all the time. If a hi point is all you can afford getting something is better than nothing. It looks like a great car gun.

  • when i heard the song playing with this vid i started laughing lol

  • I work at a local gun shop and range. Believe me when I tell you, there is a reason that Hi-points have a bad reputation. I've shot many of them over the last few years... new ones sent to the shop, used ones traded in, manufacturer sent "try outs". All guns have the potential to malfunction, but I have never seen this happen so often with ANY brand of guns, as I have Hi-points. Remember, just because the gun does indeed shoot bullets, dosen't make it a good gun.

  • Geat video! Really brought out the ignorant HP haters. The keyboard commandos would appreciate 'em more if they were featured in Call of Duty, where they get all of their firearm experience.

  • im sorry, i still hate them.

  • I think the music in this video represents the demographic the makers of this pistol are trying to reach. They should have a "bloods vs. crips" video sponsored by Hi-Point fine firearms. Of course it would be co-sponsored by Old english malt liquor.

  • @skunkapotamus Smith and Wesson .38s are actually the most common criminally used firearm. Hi Point's not even in the top 5...

  • @Grubbernaut That is true sir.

  • @ americanstory1- why don't you act like you have some fucking class and learn how to talk to people? Your mom should have kept the cocks out of her mouth, drugs out of her nose and raised you better. What a fucking loser... Love you wannabe "youtube bullies"!

  • @billthesoftballguy Its funny how you say "why don't you act like you have some class" then you turn around and start spewing alot of 10 year old "yo momma" jokes. Come on dude, if your going to try to prove a point then at least act like you believe in the point your trying to prove. And next time, im sure we could all do without the annoying, loud hip hop music.

  • @billthesoftballguy

nice video -- Judging by the quality of comments I would say that the Glock owners are much higher class than those that own Hi Points ---- (sarcasm). I own neither but I want four (hp) now just to piss off the EXCEPTIONALLY SMART people that seem to comprise the Glock community. Four of us with C9s would really outgun one with a $600 gun. Should have to take an IQ test b4 you can buy a Glock so that you don't hurt sales.

  • how do you take the safety off?

  • can't fuck with them! lol :)

  • Wow 10 rounds

  • I really want a Hi Point .45 but I don't want my friends and everyone at the range to laugh and make fun of me for having bought it. So I go to a store about 300 miles away that has an indoor range and rent one there. They all laugh and make fun of me there but I don't care because they don't know me or where I'm from.

  • Hi Point rocks. I love mine.

  • can't F*** with us? Really? Is everyone out to get you?

  • I have a glock 40 and a high point c9 9mm I have no problems carring anyone of them becouse they both have been reliable for over a couple years now

  • i love my Hi-Point .45 cal i put 90 rounds in it and not one jam and i was useing crappy Blazer ammo so it will shoot that its a good gun and got to love the life time WART. on it even if you are the 5 th , 6th , or 100th owner of it !!!

  • Nice Video. I got a HP CF 380 and Love it.

  • If someone is going to shoot me, it better not be with a hi point. That would be disgrace to my family. Please don't disgrace my family by shooting me with a hi point. Have some respect would ya?

  • lol hi-point silly very silly

  • Allt ehse people running there mouths bout hi0points nothing but Haters and Dumbasses that should Learn to shut the hell up i got a hi-point and its awsome so what they are cheap and Heavy its a Firearm go Find something better to do than Talk shit bout someones guns

  • Hi-Points were created for criminals because they're dirt cheap crap guns

  • I think if the video went on long enough to shoot an entire box of ammo ,you'd be seeing shannon and Bill getting jammed Hi Points

  • @rlta04 Oh really I shot between 300 and 500 rounds A WEEK out of my HI-POINT and have never had any trouble. All the glock pointers at the range are the ones I see having failure to feed and failure to eject problems.

  • Nice video, shitty music.

  • use the remington umc...dont use winchester white box!!!

  • I bought a C-9 in 2000 when someone was threatening me. It was my first handgun and it sure was better than a knife. I used it to buy a Colt Gold Cup two years later. Sure, a good 1911 IS better than a Hi-Point but somehow, I miss that old Gun. Two months ago, I bought a Glock 19 and I wouldn't trade that for a Hi-Point either, and yet... The C-9 was never a problem to me and was pretty accurate. The only thing I didn't like about it was field stripping it for cleaning.

  • I carried my hi-point jhp working security it saved me twice, has never failed at the moment of truth.

hungtonight I also like the newer .38 special loads actually prefer them to a 9mm.

  • I have a Hi-Point c9 and have been happy with it ever since I bought it. All around fun gun that has yet to jam up on break on me. I have not had to use the warranty, which is a good thing, however, I have heard great things about the Hi Point customer service..

  • Just cuz the weapon isn't $500+ doesn't mean its a piece of shit hand gun. I want to get a Hp .45 just to show the biased faggots whats up.

  • @mixwell1983 Yea your right? There is no difference between a Corvette and a Geo metro.

  • @taylorc1448 - If you are going reliability ONLY and nothing else then sure a geo metro can be as reliable as a Corvette. If you're talking about performance then no. The reason your comparison isn't an accurate comparison is because a hi-point shoots the same bullet as a Glock yet they may both perform very accurate although the Glock is a more expensive weapon. Automobiles and guns are 2 way diff topics of comparison and your comparison fails.

  • I think many of these posts are from the people who have never shot a hi point but only speculate. I hear nothin but good from these guns and if you proof then please post it but from what I've seen, a lot of hi point users love the gun and I hear nothing but good from em.. hell I am considering getting a .45 HP. I say dont knock it until you try it or you're full a biased bullshit..

  • usally when you see the words hi point and love associated with eachother in the same sentence....the offspring is something along the line of a pale skin freckled, ginger kid that imediatley has you searching for the reciet.

  • usually when you see the words hi point and love associated with each other it means you really can't afford an anything else, I was the same way once I got rid of it I felt good

  • A blind squirrel still finds a nut every once in a while. Shoot a Sig, H&K, or Glock (3 reliable guns) and tell me that the HP is comparable... its not. HPs are for target shooting only, when the paper can't shoot back. Target shooting with it is just a waste of ammo though. Go buy a .22, and quit buying up all of the ammo at Wal-Mart just to waste it. lol

  • @HUNGSOONER If you in any way consider yourself a serious shooter, and you don't reload and rely on ammo from wally world, you are the one who needs to get a clue. Wally world ammo IS for part time target shooters and nothing more. Using walmart ammo is a waste to begin with, it's all junk. Grow up, buy a Dillon 650 and make your own ammo and stop crying about ammo at walmart. I own better guns than any you have listed, but I still shoot my HP. I will out shoot you any day of the week with it.

  • nobody is saying that a 600 hundred dollar gun is better than a high point and SOME of them do shoot well but the fact of the matter is the majority of them jam..i watched another video on a guy who bought a hi point 45 cal and there was a 40 cal barrel in the dam thing imagine if he didnt spot that and took it to the range and then i saw another video of the same man who after he returned the defective hi point and got a new one the saftey didnt worked.

  • u suck and u are not black jtluk

  • I love the gun snobs. Just because you paid more does not make your gun better. Sure your pistols shoot great but to criticize a gun owner for having a Hi-Point is BS. You all remind me of California yuppies who think they are better than everyone else because they drive a BMW.

  • Are you serious? If anyone can show me video of this, I'll believe it... until then, I call BULLSHIT!

  • hey man I have a hipoint and it jammed when i first got it. I used winchester white box. I spoke with the factory and they told me that the ammo I was using just doesnt work well with the gun. They said to polish the feedramp and then see how it is. I polished the feedramp and no the gun has NO PROBLEMS. I have 42 guns and I must say the hi point is one of my favorites. I was wondering if you had any problems like this and also if you ever used Winchester White Box.

  • Yep - I have a Hi-Point C9 that jams like crazy when I use Winchester ammo, otherwise it shoots like a dream. Stick with Remington, Fiocchi, etc. and your Hi-Point will work like a charm for you!

  • Hi points are GREAT guns. They are no where near AMAZING guns...but are VERY reliable.

  • @skyhop Yeah, my LBC PPC Open Class will out shoot your POS Five Seven all day long, with junk ammo. Put 10 of my custom loads in .75" all day long at 25yds. And just make one .5" hole from a machine rest. He never claimed it to be more accurate or better. It's simply a fun gun for short money. There are always better more accurate guns. It's a matter of what you need and what fits your budget. So go be an ass somewhere else. I will make you swallow your words when my 8,000 rd HP out shoots you.

  • LOL, well I promise you that a 10 yr old Sig p226 is better than a brand new, off the line, just lubed Hi-Point. There is a difference... the people who don't think there is a difference are the people that either don't shoot a lot or don't rely on their weapon to save their life or their family's. Dick.

  • Wow a highpoint that acutally works thats a one in a million

  • i got my h/p from my dad for 145$ with two mags and 150 round shot all of them in one day and never had a problem.

  • i'll stick with my glock 19 i dont know if i would trust my hi-point in a defensive situation

  • yeah no shit id rather jurk out a knife

  • i shot winchesters in my c9 and rifle without any problems

  • Let's just say it won't sleep on the job.

  • I'll stick with the Makorav. It will hold it's own with any nine on the market. Only down side, it holds only eight rounds in the mag.

  • I agree ith you guys, it's not about the price. I have a $140.00 Makorav that I've had for 12 years now. It hasn't jammed on me yet. It shoot just as straight as the expensive guns. Till this day it hasn't jammed. I can shoot cheap chinese rounds to expensive Hornandy, Winchester, or whatever else. It won't skip a beat. My friend went out, and bought an expensive tricked out Beretta $700.00. His gun jams at least twice at the range.

  • Hi points are ok for a beginner gun, but they really aren't worth a fuck.

  • winchester works perfect in my .45!

  • HP are good I got one for like 200 a .40 brand new got 200 rounds and went shooting the whole 200 no problems. And there is a saying it doesn't matter what gun u have as long as u know how to use it and how accurate u are:)

  • Bill, I'm with you. I have two hi points, the .45 and the .40 S+W and I have about a thousand rounds through each and I have not had a single problem. I laugh at these guys who talk shit about the hi point as they pull their Kimbers or Colts or whatever out and guess what. They throw rounds down range same as I do. Sure it's a little heavier but for $189.00 I am not complaining. Keep Shootin'!!

  • @regondi You are right but I have not seen a "light" kimber or colt that I have been interested in....love my hipoint

  • I love it when these assholes with money comment on here about how much better their gun is. In all reality you can have the most expensive gun in the world and not hit shit .

  • When I was qualifying for my concealed carry permit the guy next to me had a H&K USP and it jammed (stovepipe) twice in one mag. Videos like this are a good way to bring out the GunSnobs.

  • Do you carry a High Point for CCW? AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hell no, junior.

  • well why not? Since they're such great guns :P

  • I know plenty of people who do. Mine's fed probably six thousand rounds or so and jammed once.

  • I bought a hi point 9mm pistol on 02/07/2009. Shot 3 full clips. 5 inch pattern from 30 feet. No jams. Yes it is ugly but I love it. I named it Medusa. UGLY BUT DEADLY.

  • i have about 5 to 7 thou on my and its 3 years old and no prob hi-points are very reliable.

  • showing me one clip without any jams for ftf or fte doesn't convince me it's reliable, put 1000 down the pipe and let me know how many problems you have, less than 2 and we'll say it's reliable.

  • I've sent about double that down range and never had to even disassemble and clean my C9 with no jams (except that box of Brazzer Brass ammo from Wal-Mart and I'm assuming since I had no problems before or since using that box, it's the ammo, not the weapon).

  • wat ammo do u currently use....i find remington white box good..

  • I like the Remington white box also and the Winchester rounds work nice as well.

  • @billthesoftballguy you see a good gun, or rather a dependable gun one that you can rely on to save your life will eat ANY ammo. Good ammo cheap ammo shouldn't matter

  • @billthesoftballguy i am a big hi point fan as well and tell anyone who criticizes them to at least try one...i have converted 10+ people i have the jcp 40 s&w

  • @mallon42 Funny, I own about 12 handguns, many of high quality, like my Les Baer 1911 PPC Open Class.

I also own several Hi Points, including my 9mm with 8,000+ rounds downrange and ZERO issues. Still holds a 1.5" 5 shot group at 25yds. Is it as nice as my LBC, no way. But I paid $2000 form my LBC, and $150 for my Hi-Point. It goes bang when I pull the trigger and a hole appears in the target, what more can you ask for $150?

  • @mallon42 shooting times put thousands of round though Hi-points and they functioned flawlessly.

Hell, just look at the comments on this video, dozens and dozens of accounts of thousands of rounds fired with no malfunctions.

You want a video showing 1000+ rounds fired under test conditions? That would be a very long and boring video.

  • @mallon42 Have you ever even used one?

  • @mallon42 WWB is supposed to be a no no...there's a lot of boxes with defective rounds and generally dirty ammo. Hi-Point even put out a statement saying you should avoid using it in their guns. Personally I use the plain ol Federal from Wal-Mart..it's about $10 a box for 50.

  • @mallon42 dude even guns that are considered the energizer bunny in reliability, handguns that is, will have a few more jams then just 2. I don't think you are being realistic dude, srry but experience says otherwise.

  • Damn, I thought was posting a simple video on how I like shooting my pistol, and it turned into a forum for name calling and other stupid shit? Jeeze, when did YouTube go myspace?

  • Unfortunately that hapens when parents don't watch their kids. I wanted to see the Hi-point in action because I heard a lot of bad shit about it. But if I can pick up a weapon for under 200 that fires-hell yeh!

  • Hey, heeeeey, you get, just like life, out of what you put into a firearm, a marksman should be able to shoot anything from a pee-shooter or 30mm belt-fed chain machine gun. Thats nothing but the godspell.

  • I'm not exactly 100% sure of what point you're trying to get across here sir, but somehow, I feel much safer! Thanks for the comment.

  • Sorry, I'm just saying people are way into much of brands, thats all. Eye, hand, coordination is similar in any sport!!

  • i find this funny because Hi Point has the reputation they have for a reason. They are crap, and have a lifetime warranty because they need one. Look obviously you dont know guns well or you would have something a little more reputable and RELIABLE. Hey if you want a crappy gun to carry around or protect your house, more power to you, but me and 99% of gun owners who know what they are talking about would NEVER trust a "reliable" gun that costs as much as it takes to fill up my SUV.. OWNED

  • Actually sir, I own many firearms (I've since had to dramatically increase my collection with the Democrats in control) and as a former member of the U.S. Military and being an Army brat, I've been around firearms all my life. I'm not saying that my Hi-Point is the best weapon I own (I prefer my Berretta and Taurus), the purpose of the video is just to illustrate what I and thousands of firearm owners already knew; that HP (undeservedly) gets a bad rap.

  • Ever fire a HP? Hi-Point has the reputation it does because gun snobs promulgate rhetoric they haven't personally substantiated.

I have 5000 rounds down range through my HP .45, ZERO weapon related fault.

  • Yes.

Mine is a jamming piece of shit, and runs at about 60% to 70% reliability.

Funny thing is, it isnt even worth the shipping to send it back for the warranty. THATS why they have the warranty. No one will pay to air-transit them through a private carrier.

  • i read your post on you tube. would you like to sell your hi point to me?

  • Funny how you say you have all these guns, but there's not one pic of you with one or one video of you shooting one....stop lying, you have NO guns, and you sure don't have a wife. OWNED!

  • getting a hi point 40 in 10 days cant wait

  • I want one of these but they are selling out so damn fast at the gun shops, guess I will have to prepay for one for myself or something. when you sell a gun for an attractive price, they go quick.

  • hipoints are a nice gun for how much they cost. Kudos!

  • I love my hi-point .380 and my .45acp.

    junk they are not.

  • nice to see fellow hi-point supporters out there

  • i abosolutly love hi-point firearms own the 9mm now and will be geting the .45 soon

  • Funny you mention Taurus Frodo. If you've really been shooting all those years, you probably remember when people called Taurus or Rossi pistols junk too.

As we know though, Taurus makes a great firearm with a great warrenty for a great price. To critisize for a ridulous reason like " because you have a crappy job and it's all you can afford, you have my sympathy" just makes you sound like a judgemental, know it all, asshole.

  • Adults don't post such silliness, frod. Adults will disagree. They may post factual experiences. They may express a preference for particular brand name(s), based on experiencew. But adults don't pop in, and call someone they don't know an "asshole" based on nothing. That's what we see on childrens' posts.

  • Let me guess.. another 13 year old non-shooter. frod.. ask yourself why this big guy and tiny girl are sucessful with Hi-Points, and you're not. Add to that the tens-of-thousands of satisfied Hi-point owners and positive gun-articles. Hmmm. Who has the problem discerning value here? Numbers don't lie. Hi-points and their warrentys are winners. Glocks are great but expensive. Hi-Points ARE practical AND affordable. Try one and LEARN how to use it. ;-)

  • Guns dont kill people, bullets do. I dont care if the bullet starts its trajectoy from a Glock or a Kimber or a Hi Point. A 200 dollar can kill you just as good as a 1200 dollar one can.

  • I sold the Pistol to my Wife Cousin because he is Disabled and didn't have much income

He says the Gun jams every now and then, but he isnt a Pistol Shooter, he DOES have a Limp Wrist!

Now, my CCW Gun is the XD-40, and as for the HP 40 Carbine, it never jammed, I put a Cheap Red Dot on it, and it is fun as hell to shoot, BUT I am going to sell it for $140 as soon as I get to town to put the Ad in the Paper, I am buying all the AR-15's I can before the new Regime is in on Jan 20 2009

  • Hi-Point Pistol's have a break in period of about 300 rounds, then they run smooth.

  • I can agree, I put 150 rounds in a brand new 9mm this Sunday, and it jammed a couple of times in the first 40 rounds or so. The other problem was the slide not completely returning to fire position after firing a round. But toward the end it worked fine, and very accurate. At $165 I'm willing to put up with a break in period.

  • I posted just 10 seconds ago, and I CAN'T see my Post, I would rather use a HP Pistol than this shitty Youtube Website !

    But I have Springfield XD's in 40 & 45 Cal

I have AR-15's and Parker-Hale & Remington Bolt Guns and I bought the Wife an HP Pistol & Carbine in 40 Cal because she wanted her OWN Gun to shoot, Plus, I knew she would shoot a Few times and that would be the End of it

The HP Pistol jammed with Reloads that Cycle in my XD-40, the Carbine Never Jammed

  • I can't see how anyone can badmouth Hi-points. They WORK. If you experience problems related to the piece, the factory will correct it. Even if you're the 3rd owner! I would first question whether it's a limp-wristing problem, ammo problem, magazine problem, etc. ..ALL problems related to semi-auto pistols. Ask yourself.. out of the tens (hundreds?) of thousands of Hi-Points out there that perform VERY well,.. why doesn't yours? Hmmm? Could it be the user? It certainly isn't a lack of warranty.

  • CETME. That would be the Brazillian version of the HK G3 if I'm not mistaken. I've fired the G3 when my U.S. Army unit was hosted by the Bundeswehr in the former West Germany years ago. I've got no complaints about the G3. However I like the fact that the AR-10 and AR-15 work on the same principle of direct gas impingement and the AR-10 is a homegrown design.

  • No gas piston = more mess and harder to clean.

  • I did a little research on the CETME. It's a Spanish version of the G3 and actually predates the HK G3. Now, when it comes to guns, shooting and cleaning go hand in hand. Given the outdated cleaning kits the Army issues, (with obsolete cleaning rods) cleaning is a bitch. With an Otis cleaning kit with a flex rod and muzzle to breach method, cleaning is more effecive and quick and easy, even with AR-15/M-16 type rifles.

  • I, like you, enjoy cleaning my guns and find it relaxing. I often ponder, however, if I should wear some latex gloves when handling a lot of Hoppes No. 9? The concoction is proprietary but a lot of these petroleum distillates are absorbed through the skin.

  • Break Free CLP is the greatest thing invented since Saran Wrap. Good for the guns and knives. Most of these cleaning stuff has solvent and Petroleum distillates in it. Try not to breathe it or get on your skin for too long. Use a brush.

  • Some nytrile gloves (cheap at your local Auto Zone), are a good idea for handling lots of chemicals. I've been using 'No. 9" for decades. Love the odor.. it triggers so many memories of the field and hunting. I use the gloves for oil changes and garden fertilizer too. Enjoy the sport!

  • I have a Hi-Point C9 9mm and it's just a great gun. I also have a Beretta M92FS, Glock 19. While the C9 is a little heavy, but it is very accurate onpart with my Beretta and Glock. I used the warranty too - it's awsome. I had a bullet stuck in barrel and I missed up the gun while getting it out (my mistake). I sent it to Beemiller in Ohio and got a new gun back along with a free clip. What a great customer service. I am sold.

  • The shear inertia of the Hi-Point dictates that your opponent will get the drop on you in a draw! Let's say the bad guy has a light polymer pistol like a Glock. He'd put three holes in you before you even cleared leather.

  • What if he's a lousy shot?

  • Good point. If the bad guy is a lousy shot and the Hi-Point owner is an accomplished weight lifter, there is the off chance that the Hi-Point owner could heave his gun from its holster and bring it to bear before the bad guy was lucky enough to get off a shot that found its mark.

  • I must admit that those Hi Points pistols are top heavy because of the relatively massive slide, but only noticable for the .40 and .45 caliber models, and weren't oversized hand cannons such as the .44 Magnum in fashion once? Dirty Harry seemed like a regular built guy.

  • True, but the over-sized hand cannons of the day were chambered in monster calibers. Besides, Dirty Harry is larger than life. The 29-2 just screams "quality" with its pinned barrel and counter bored cylinder. Everyone should own an N-frame Smith.

  • Handgun of any sort, semi-auto postols, single shot pistols or revolvers maybe great to have around but my mainstay is the Black Rifles such as the AR-15 or the M96 Expeditionary Rifle. I want a combination of range and power in every shot out to 300 meters. Handguns are secondary which explains why price and perceived quality are really not overiding concerns in my selection.

  • "Black" sounds like black powder. Well if you like the AR style rifle with long range shooting, I suggest you look at the DPMS Panther LR-260. Fires the new Remington 260 cartridge (necked down 308) which has GREAT sectional density and long range characteristics. It was designed after the success of the Swiss 7.5x55 round.

  • I believe the term "Black Rifle" has its roots in the the Viet Nam War where the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army referred to the M-16 as the "Black Gun". If I had the bread to throw around, I'd probably get the .308 Armalite AR-10 to add to my collection.

  • 308 has the advantage of being cheaper to feed. If you want to save a few hundred bucks, you might consider a CETME.

  • Hi Point love

  • Exactly, hi points are damn good guns for the price and have the BEST customer service of any gun I know of.

  • Hi Point makes a damn good gun at a reasonable price.

    I have 2 Glocks (model-37 45GAP, model 17 in 9mm) and a Ruger P89-9mm.

I also have two HiPioint pistols both C-9s and the ONLY problem I've ever had was a magizine well spring go bad, and THAT was because I let a friend load it, he slammed the clip in like a wanna be gangster and bent the magizine retainer spring.

I had 4 sent to me within a week from HiPoint NO ?s asked.

    don't bash whatcha don't know.

    Peace, R

  • finaly some one who knows gun

  • I see you said it was bulky. Do you think it would be a good pistol for home defense?

  • Go suck a dick you fagot fuck, why dont you quit runnin your mouth, it't obvious you dont know shit abot guns so shut your mouth before you get it shut for you.

  • i have to say it im very tempted in getting a .45 hipoint, ive been looking at para ordance and colts and the prices are off the charts, i really would like to shoot a hi point .45 to see for myself. i shot the carabine and it was very comfortable and very sturdy so im guessing the handguns are made with the same quality. i still rely very much on my makarov though.

  • The .45 is a wonderful range gun, reliable and fun to shoot, but it does not make a good carry piece. It's just too bulky, but I love to take mine to the range, and on my bedside table.

  • jal3281...you hit the nail on the head. Here we have a real chance to buy a dependable all American made product at a price most can afford. That's why i originally bought my C9 it was that or do without. Some 2,000 flawless shots later i bought the .45. In my 60 years i have seen the price of handguns skyrocket. You wanna pay for a name?...go right ahead.I'll put the hundreds i save into ammo! Both my Hi-Points and my 91 Olds are proof you don't have to spend a lot of $ to get a quality product.

  • i own a hi point 9mm pistol i have had it for a few years it has seen well over 3000 rounds the only thing i replaced was the mag i love the gun it fires every time the warranty is great but i never used it....thanks

  • I have a son and a minimum wage job. In a recession and little pay Hi-Point is the way to go, not all of us can afford 5-600 dollar handguns. I getting a 40 cal hand gun and I'm toying with the idea of the 40 carbine as well..and all for less than 500.

  • Not only that, alot of the big name, big money manufacturers can't even come close to Hi-points warranty. But beware Slate454 will swear Hi Point weapons were made of plastic and will backfire on you after two rounds. thanks for the comment!

  • Damn dude. im in the same boat. got the .40 today but havent shot it. have you gotten yours? if so what type of hp ammo should i use.

  • At the range, I just use standard Winchester ball rounds. But I keep hollow points in both of my Hi-Point pistols ( .45 and 9mm )all of the other time. Whatever you do, DO NOT ever buy the Blazer Brass rounds from Wal-Mart. They jam in every pistol I have ever owned or shot...INCLUDING Glock, Berretta, Taurus and Hi-Point.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • I use Blazer Brass almost exclusively in my HP 45, and the thing eats it up....never has jammed. Now S&B.....that shit won't feed at all......

  • Good for you buddy. My compliments. But, what is S&B?

  • S&B is Sellier and Belliot ammo, comes from Czech Republic.....can get it over on the West coast, and it is horrible ammo......a lot of the ranges stock it to buy, but I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy....well, maybe I would.

  • Thanks. i bought winchester white box jhp before i read the reply. but ive heard winchester round balls jam in the mag....

  • Bill...People who have spent WAY too much money on their pistols just HAVE to say the Hi-Point is crap, even though they have never shot one.I have one in 9mm and .45 and have put thousands of rounds through them without a single Hiccup.

    Sweet video man.

  • Thank you very much. I totally agree with you, it's funny how not one person on here that dogs Hi-Point pistols has owned or shot one...or at least has no video of them even shooting ANY weapon. Thank you for your comment.

  • This comment came from a person who's favorite videos included content of a horrible rap artist absolutely no videos themselves. And last time I looked, EVERY DECENT gun dealer keeps different brands of weapon in thier own cases...it's called RETAIL MARKETING. As ignorant as it was, thanks for the comment anyway.

  • I dont have to defend them, I frequent the Hi Point videos because I enjoy them not run my fuckin mouth like the gun snobs posting comments on here like yuo, you dumb son of a bitch.

  • What's the name of the song and band?

  • No can do by Tech Nin3

  • Thanks.

  • I never understood how some smartass motherfucker can look up a video just to run their fuckin mouth?

  • Hi Points are great guns, everyone I know that has one loves there's. They have a break in period you dumb son of a bitch.

  • Um....to whom are you referring to?

  • The Hi Point gun snobs.

  • Bill, I'm happy you and your girlfriend take part in shooting. Our right is being stricken from us. Damn! I should have put "Or" instead of "it" up there on the other comment. Not once did I claim to be smarter then anyone on here. I have heard more bad then good about this gun. I own, shoot and love Glocks. It's your right to think I over paid, but money is not a factor in my safety. I'm done with this endless argument. The only thing we will get out of this is name calling.

  • whites people please stop being black its shameful for the rest of us beside the music good vid and cheap reliable wepons are good for our freedoms

  • Well, ummmm, don't know where in that video you see anyone trying to be anything other than people enjoying shooting a weapon. And for some reason, I seriously doubt you'd be calling it a "cheap" weapon if you were standing opposite of the buisiness end of that weapon. Thanks for you comment, now go before you're late for your Klan meeting.

  • Shooting cans is differnt then shooting people. My hi point is shit. The gun jams, fails to feed until you work on it. Any cop worth a shit does not promote hi points. Why do you think about 95% carry glocks? You must think hi point are better. Hi point are throw away guns you shoot a crackhead with.

  • Prove it....show me one video, news paper article, or and report where it blows up or jams, then you'll have an arguement. Until then, enjoy all the videos on youtube of people enjoying shooting thier Hi-Point weapon...and not jamming or misfiring or "blowing up".

  • Okay, Their are two videos of shit ass hi points on here. Look at a video title, " Another hi point moment." Look all over youtube you will see people saying they jam, when you use hollow points. I was dumb enough to buy one years ago, and so far I think it was the worst 80.00 I spent. You have mentioned the warrenty is great on hi point, because they are cheap as hell. Give me a minute I will shit in a box, and stamp a warrenty on it for you.

  • Hollow points have a tendency to jam in ANY magazine loaded pistol. And people SAY Hi-Point pistols jam all the time on this site but not ONE person has a video on here that PROVES that theory If you use proper ammunition clean the gun and maintain it in proper intervals then these weapons are just as good as a S&W Colt or Glock and at a FRACTION of the cost AND come with a better warranty. As for your shit in a box well, I heard your mom was hungry, why don't you give it to her for a snack?

  • Okay, faggot! don't get made because your broke ass can't afford anything better. I told you that you can find a video on here. Look at "A classic Hi point moment." Let's get off mom's because I just got off yours! Don't cry when you get laughed out of the building, when you break that hunk of shit out. I know you have cops where you live, so look at their holster next time you see one, you're not going to see any Hi pionts.
