I bought G3 two months ago.

I must pay much money again to get G5....

@BrandonCarterTV It's combining 2 pedals in one. Instead of having 2 physical pedals, in which you would probably be using one foot at a time or both feet at a time, it's more useable to use the Z-pedal to control 2 pedals at a time using only one of your foot.

@calvinasqw dude when you compare the zoom g9.2tt to boss gt-10 or to a podhd500 the zoom standout.. the boss gt-10 looks like a toy y? see for yourself., the the podhd500 looks like a coat with shinny buttons..with the twin tube from zoom., very nice! catch us if you can--sincerely yours zoom

Thats what I hate about these products compared to bigger ones like the AXE FX. Instead of giving us say an Awesome Patch update or something they just make a whole new product! I love my G3 but now the G5 comes out as soon as i get my g3 pedal XD If you watch the video there is a Red ZOOM G3 right next to him, So that's another model as well. Damn Japanese, these are Guitar Pedals! Not Pokemon cards!

I know, I got my G3 recently, when i heard this I got mad. Like buing an Apple product mad haha. But its still not that good you know, only 4 effects in loop. If you are making a distortion patch you might need and EQ, in my case I need one because of my stock Pups. If you are making it heavily distorted you might wanna add a noise gate. then the distortion per se, and i like adding a light reverb. Next comment down.no space

@2020jonnybravo What if i want another effect? like a nice chorus, or flanger/phaser. Ive been sacrificing the noise gate on my G3 to have my nice light reverb or chorus. At least there are 2 in 1 effects. Also with cleans. I like my cleans with a nice slow chorus, a light flanger and obvisouly a reverb or a delay. I cant use all of that in my G3. I would have liked at least a noise gate already integrated, like and option everytime you make a patch. like a switch or something

@ApathethicJustice I honestly wish they gave users some actual Updates. like new amp models and optimized stuff for better sound. I fucking hate the noise gate issue. Im always having to use a ZNR, that should be added to the amp effect or something.

@2020jonnybravo I have the same issue with the zoom G3.Why cant they make the noise gate/ZNR added to the Global settings for each patch just like the Line 6 M9/M13? I dont know if the designer is out of his mind or he's not a musician at all when he designed this unit?I have both the G3 and the Line 6 M9 & I think it's very clever for the Line 6 guys adding the NoiseGate avail both in global & in stompbox mode so user can have the option how he wants to use the noisegate efx.

@rschua7 They should really add a TON of more options to the ZNR module. It doesn't need to be global though, I have a G9 and I can tell you that on MOST of my patches, the noise gate is full off. On some, I use the DirtyGate module, and on one or two I have ZNR on. the DirtyGate only goes on my Metal/Djent patches. ZNR goes on the more noisy patches like my Marshall 1959 emulator with booster, and the rest of them have no noise redux. It's not necessary with the low SNR Zoom offers.

@bassman50fender I got your point but it would be more efficient if they make the ZNR available both for the patch/parameter mode or in global patch mode. In this way, you dont have to use one of the parameters just for the ZNR. I dont usually use the ZNR for TS/OD or clean amp settings but sometimes I use my trusty Strat w/ single coil from which is quite noisy on some cases and I dont want to mess my live patch settings just to add a ZNR.
