@emancoy your ignorance is showing sir. How long have you, studied iridology? Have you ever personally looked into it; or are you basing your knowledge on some wikipedia article? Before you criticize something you should at least do some research. I personally have been to several iridologists and have studied it for quite some time now,and I can tell you there is definitely something to this. However, I don't agree with your use of "witch doctors" to describe Allopathy(Modern Medicine). As an actual Witch Doctor, or Mystical Healer, as my title dictates, I pratice Naturopathy- treatments which are natural. Please don't let your eagerness to make a point, overshadow the scope of your knowledge.(:
My dad also uses iridology to diagnose his patients. my dad can diagnose cancer before the patient even knows he/she has, he then refers them to the clinic for a scan to confirm it themselves.
The biggest quacks on earth are the AMA drug pushers who suppress all clinical studies that result in cures. There are no proven ways in the AMA and if you read the books everything is "incurable", they don't know why you get sick and there is no cure, but they have these drugs that may kill you, yet they deem the risks worthy. You have to be full of fear to fall for any of their deadly therapies.

You don't have to study too much to realize that iridology is not reliable. There are Iris Identification Systems that identify the individual based on the UNCHANGING AND UNIQUE FEATURES OF THE IRIS.
Iridology has something in common with accupuncture, accupressure, magnet therapy, therapeutic touch, and applied kinesiology; they all fail a double-blind study every time and rank no better than chance at determining anything. Don't listen to testimonials.

They seem to be unaware of the danger of quackery!, my aunt had cataract surgery then consulted to one of these iridologist, and they fail dismally in even recognizing that she had eye surgery! And ofcourse she had several non existing illnesses diagnosed by this method. Their herbal cures are even more expensive than regular medications. We warned them though

buy an iridiology manual and you will see the prove that you area wrong and when a doctor will tell you there is no cure for your ilness you will look into alternative medicine for cure. I know somebody which has osteoporosos for 30 years, she lost weight and feel very weak. after taking some alternative medicine (chinese in her case) the osteporosis was gone after 1 year of treatment. Be smart don;t fall in the other category, unless you have financial interes in other industry

The Iris cannot diagnose systemic disease, it is an arrangement of collagen fibres and pigment cells, with a couple of muscles thrown in to dilate and constrict the pupil. Not interesting, total rubbish

they cant even tell a normal eye from an eye that had cataract surgery.
the patterns on your iris is comparable to the lines in your palms. you are born with its pattern and it has as much credibility as palm reading.
