You should trying to do hammer ons/offs on down.

I used to play it the way you are, but i started to do it with the hammer on's/off's and believe me it's way easier.

Thanks for the constructive criticism! I have been trying to get used to the "real" or "technical" way, but I still play better like that for now, so I recorded it like that. I'm very slowly improving; I haven't had time to really spend much time with it.

Are you 100% teaching yourself? If so are you learning totally based off of songs/tabs or are you using online tutorials/books?

I am completely teaching myself using tablatures, and my ears. If I have difficulty understanding timing of something and/or special technique, I usually refer to a YouTube video of someone else doing it etc.

Thats what I did years ago w/ guitar, just learning songs I liked via tabs online. Eventually I started figuring out songs without the help of tabs for the most part, though even today (6+ years later) I still go to the tubes for the ones I cant figure out.

Thanks a lot! Good lick with the methadone and Klonopin. Klonopin is one of the two least addictive benzodiazepines, so if you use it like you should, you'll be OK. The methadone bothers me some, but it's better than the stuff that you can abuse. I'd LOVE to see you eventually taper off the methadone, so if you do that, keep me informed!
