Only one actor who decided to reprise his role in the third movie, they could have done better interrior sets and the rifle props are too large and gaudy. Good graphics in most parts and Omar Anoke's music video were the best parts of the film.

I don't think people realize that the SST movies are an homage to cheesy B Scifi movies. Its supposed to be cheap. Its apart of the Scifi novelty. Even the first one was cheesy.

@mars8808 The problem isn't in the effects its in the understanding of the film. ST1 was far more of a political and military satire than a war movie. The problem with the second one was that it took itself to seriously and the problem with the third was that it was way to over the top oven by the standards of the first movie (oh and there was that whole forced religious undertone). Maybe they could do a more honest adaptation to the original book.

First one was great. Second one was garbage. This one is actually decent considering the budget. It has the funny, over the top quasi fascist elements which one may or may not link to contemporary events and Rico to give it some linkage to the first. Jolene Blalock and Marnette Patterson are nice additions. The ladies will appreciate Boris Kodjoe.
@johnny22233323 in the first film they used a mixture of cgi and lots of puppets, but with the budget for the third film they could only make so few puppets and rely on cgi without going over their budget. Plus they had a bigger cast as to compare to this one. Thats why it may have seemed so real. If they do make another SST movie i would only wish they did it by the books like in the first film.

it was closer to the book than the others, given a smaller budget they did what they could. at least they had the giant robot solders. it needs to be rebooted with the same actors with a bigger budget.
The movie series needs to be rebooted into being more faithful to the novel, so we can have power-armored orbital drop troops like a combination of Halo's ODSTs and Spartans put together.

Starship trooper 1 had huge sets, good casting and a nice story that kept you interested during the movie. This is due to the fact that it was directed by Paul Verhoeven who made "Total Recall", "Basic Instinct" and "Robocob". These movies were awsome, i saw them as a kid and i still to this day remember them. That is the thing with good movies, you never completly forget about them.
Starship troopers 2 and 3 were crappy remakes made from wannabe directors.

it was closer to the book than the others, given a smaller budget they did what they could. at least they had the giant robot solders. it needs to be rebooted with the same actors with a bigger budget.

Starship trooper 1 had huge sets, good casting and a nice story that kept you interested during the movie. This is due to the fact that it was directed by Paul Verhoeven who made "Total Recall", "Basic Instinct" and "Robocob". These movies were awsome, i saw them as a kid and i still to this day remember them. That is the thing with good movies, you never completly forget about them.
Starship troopers 2 and 3 were crappy remakes made from wannabe directors.

I saw a movie with soldiers, spaceship and giant insects, I don't know if it was starship troopers 3 because I did't see it completely, but I remember that in a part of that movie: Four soldiers (two males and two females) undressed themselfs to make a physical exam. If someone knows that movie, tell the movie's name, i will apreciate it.
