I re-assembled all of the gearbox except for one part, which is the anit reversal latch. there is a spring on it and i'm not sure what position it goes in. Im clueless 0.0 and the spring is so thin on this video you cant really see it. Does anyone know how to put the anti reversal latch on?

for some unknown reason, my gearbox will not close. I believe the tappet plate and/or the cylinder is/are the culprit(s). Aside from that, it literally took me 4 hours to get the trigger in place.

@cselagea also make sure you arent pinching any wiring, thats another main cause of gearboxes not closing

@AirSplatcom I've figured it out. It was the trigger switch. There is a hole where there is supposed to be screw to keep the trigger switch in place and once you put the tappet plate in, the gearbox will crush the tappet plate against the 2mm screw head sticking out. In short: dont put anything in your gun that wasn't already in there.

What is the bushing size for AK 47s, is it 6mm or 7mm?

@AirSplatcom should it be the same for a JG Ak47 Tactical? I have 7mm classic army bushings and they dont snap into place like it should, and when i close the gearbox its a little tight, i dont even need shims.

my damn trigger assembly fell apart and a lost the tiny ass 1-64 thred scrue holding on the trigger housing so i had to super glue it back, this is the last time im opening up my gearbox!

yes it is generally inadvisable to open all that stuff up unless you reaaally know what your doing

Nice vid. But what exactly does he do at time point 8:40 when his hand is in the way of the camera? When I put mine back together that spring made I noise but I couldn't find anything out of place even when I re-opened the box, so i just left it =/

Dude, I can't thank you enough, you just saved me £120! I took apart my mechbox to upgrade it, and the whoel thing exploded in my face :(.

I was looking at this to help me with another V3 gearbox. I have done AKs a lot, but I got a Galaxy and the same thing always gets me. The trigger spring. They never want to go in on the Galaxy v3 mechbox. I was watching this and now I understand why. The galaxy has a metal portion the sticks out and makes it harder. AAAAAAARRRGH!

why echo 1 makes very good guns i have the echo 1 ak 47 green ris and it freaking is awesome all the internals are very clever very strong sturdy and reliable gun and it is a great assault rifle as it has a lot of fps and strong motor and gold tight bore barrel for accuracy

The first time I put a v3 gear box together, it took me 3 hours to get the anti-reversal latch and trigger to stay put while lining up the gear axles while putting the upper half of the mech box back on... talk about tedious. This video makes it look so easy :)
