I downloaded only 3 parts of MGS and extracted the .bin file from the first part on my phone. Do you have to put other files inside of that, because it only shows the buttons

this is pretty awesome! if they ported something like n64 for android (i don't use a droid, i use a samsung moment and soon a samsung epic 4g!) and I would pay anywhere to 10 dollars for the apk!

@wwjoshdew It would never happen legally and the developers/hackers would never be able to charge for it. They would do 5 years in prison and a $50,000 copyright infringement fee if they tried. Nintendo doesn't screw around when it comes to this stuff... They still sue over NES roms.

I have this app on a behold 2, but dont know if it will work because I dont have a computer to download the huge roms or anything to extract the necessary files. I want to play Crash 1-3,MGS,Twisted Metal & alot of others I had!!!!!!!

Snapdragons are good at crunching numbers, so this is fine.

The new dual cores should do much better with this.

And this is still 1.1... the emulator should be optimized more and will be because the developers for this are awesome.

not to sound like a dick but why the hell would i wanna play ps1 games on my phone.? my psp does it just fine plus i dont have to cramp my fingers with all the buttons so close together. i mean i get that its cool that a phone can play ps1 games, i guess i just dont get why i would ever need or want to play on my phone. im sure it kills teh phone pretty quickly.

@Jettblackmatt Well perhaps before you write you might try to think.. Not everybody is the same as you so imagine that some people like to do things that you don't care for.. Firstly not everybody has a PS1 and even if they had would want to game a decade old game at home and secondly games on phones are there to kill time when on the go so obviously taking the PS with you is not an option...

The emulator seem to work very well on your phone. On my desire (2.1) gran tursimo 2 is slow.

@elche93 GT2 on the Nexus one runs very good. I am playing the SIM disc of gt2, and it runs almost 100% all the time. At times there is a very small lag spike, but for the most part, the game runs perfect. The sound is a little choppy, for example the white zombie song durning the test runs sounds choppy, but the video is flawless.

I have also played, Thrill Kill, FFvii, FF tactics, and MGS. all are running perfect except MGS

the developers of this emulator are smart, they put the directional keys and the action keys on different height to avoid the multitouch problem/limitation of Nexus One

That's not the only key configuration... at least I know it's not for the NES, SNES, and Genesis emulators. You can have them both on the bottom, both on top, etc. in the options.
