  • Great, thanks. Can you please make a video of how to install carbon and sediment starting from cutting the main copper line and putting it all together. Im looking to purchase this from your website but nervous about cutting the main line :o lol

    Thanks

  • @progression101 I will put it on the list, but it may be some time before we get to it. We typically have a production list over 100 in length. I suspect if you look here on youtube you will find something about cutting and soldering copper lines. I know it's intimidating, but I've done it and it's actually quite easy. You simply need to follow the step by step process.

  • @aquamanwisdom i found tons of stuff on soldering it, thanks :). Another quick question. Im in a very large house (about 9500 sq ft) so there are tons of faucets that need good pressure. Im worried about pressure drop from multiple people using water at the same time. What kind of system would you recommend for me. Thanks. I would like a sediment pre filter of possible before the carbon stage.

  • @progression101 For a home that large, you should probably give strong consideration to an automatic backwash carbon filter. this will look alot like a softener, but will obviously contain carbon. It will automatically clean itself periodically based on the # of gallons used. This will undoubtedly be more economical. You can install a 20-BB with a sediment filter cartridge before the system to reduce overall sediment.

  • The tall one is a softener resin tank, and the short one is the salt brine tank for regenerating the softener.

  • what is that big black tank in the middle?

  • great vid, but you forgot to disinfect with chlorine water.

  • @nhojcam That's a fair point. It's a good idea to clean the sumps and disinfect them with a mild chlorine solution. One should also wash their hands and/or wear rubber gloves to avoid contaminating the filter cartridge with bacteria. Just FYI, I washed my hands before filming this video :~)

  • @Christianpreaching Thanks for the kind words. We strive to provide accurate and helpful information.

  • I've watched a couple of your videos now and I'm really interested in a whole house system. I have no plumping skills and really don't know what I need. What would you suggest?

  • great man can i install 4th satage to a 3 stage system

  • @tarekyares Yes. The only limitation is the amount of available pressure minus the inevitable pressure loss of the filters. If you have sufficient pressure, you can install as many filters as you like.

  • Great vid this man knows what he's doing for sure

  • You look & sound like that guy from Malcom in the Middle.

  • The canisters should have valves on the bottom...Who invented those things?

  • what would be usefull like for a bomb or fallout shelter? something that would filter out all impurities and other things so water could be recycled, after uses of toilet or drinking to be reused.

  • @hitman12 Nothing simple, that's for sure. To make water from urine is difficult under the best of circumstances and even more complicated in a bomb shelter setting where resources are scarce. Storing water and using chemical sanitizers would be significantly easier and much more efficient in such a situation.

  • HINT: Tile the wall behind your system so you don't end up with a wet/moldy wall...

  • I don't now why i am watching this, but this man knows his job.

  • @abohthlool hahahah

  • Aquaman, Excellent job of giving a very detailed video of 'How To' properly change a whole house water filter with all the do's and don'ts properly explained! But I believe that if you actually wore an Aquaman costume while posting these videos you might get more hits. Albeit you might get some rude comments as well. But I think it would be a GREAT idea and great for your business as well! It's always the crazy commercials and videos that people remember. Ta da ... Aquaman to the rescue! :-)

  • which Brand of product protect the O-ring!

  • you are a good host, but the noises on the background are annoing
