  • You're so pretty! But to BBQ in your pretty dress, didn't the smoke from the pit make it smelly?

  • looks sooo goood

  • this is what I order in every korean restaurant and it's always taste good

  • can you please do a potato salad?

  • kabli looks delicous especially the ribs look nice and juicy i like that she added soya sauce

  • Dude, it's freaking scary how fast and efficient she is.

Question: I like to keep the fat on the sides since the juices add to the flavour. If I do this, will this effect the marinade negatively?

  • hi koreancuisine what if we don't have yoshida marinade??what can we use?? to replace the yoshida marinade??

  • Hello there,

Yes,You can cook it inside on a stove with just a frying pan. I hope you are enjoying this recipe.

    Have a great week:)

  • yum! too bad its winter :( would it still turn out tastey if i cooked it inside on a stove with just a frying pan?

  • You are beautifully and can cook. Are you single or are you married.?

  • Dont joke abt these things please

  • @lovelyjennx perhaps if you want to know, read the comments from the first one. i just mentioned kalbi also has a meaning in arabic, then people jumped on me with their ignorant and stubborn comments. I KNOW IT DOESN'T MEAN DOG IN KOREAN. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M SAYING. Is it THAT hard to understand? It's amazing how you guys don't get such a simple notion!

  • @WorldOfSnakes When did someone say it doesn't mean dog? The issue you're having here is that you're talking about a completely different language on a video that talks about Korean food. My comments were not ignorant and they were not stubborn. Right? Was I correct in saying that in Korean the correct way to say ribs is Galbi? Clearly there was a miscommunication. This is why I asked you if english was your second language because your responses didn't make sense. Hilarious. Time to move on.

  • @itwillbealright my english is probably better than the average american person. you're right about someone not understanding the other. but it's not me, it's you. since my first comment here was "kalbi means my dog in arabic:p" you know, i found that fact amusing. then a guy asked me about the meaning in arabic, i responded to him about the arabic language. then you came in and you didn't know i was talking about the arabic language, even though i kept mentioning the word "arabic"

  • @itwillbealright i never thought you're stupid though, and now i know you're not ignorant, but i was talking about the arabic language; i know it's out of subject in the korean video, but i was responding to someone who asked about it. So next time when answering to someone, please do know what they're talking about. and

  • @itwillbealright you picked up when i said "in some countries". now if you re-read the comments, you'll see that i was talking about "arab countries" when i responded to another guy. so that's where your misunderstanding came from. btw i tried to tlak to you by private message (cuz we're spamming this board) but i need permission

forget what he has done to you, i'm here now.

  • Great way to see what to do in preparing dishes of international origin. This lady made it so easy to understand! Loved the video and I had no trouble getting all the info for future use.

Thank you so much!!! Please do more video's of wonderful Korean dishes.

  • wut is the song!>?

  • I wish people would take the time to try and look it up. It's "New Soul by Yael Naim"

  • @SinlesLewis Yael Naïm - New Soul

  • Respond to this video... Yael Naïm - New Soul

  • I LOVE IT!! food is the shizz!!!

  • I LOVE KOREAN FOOD!

  • K-BBq is sooo effing good!

  • cuz she isnt gonna make it and then not eat it! duh

  • why you do tast it ???

  • are...are you serious?

  • I want to tell you, the ''k'' is originally pronounced as ''q'', it's a sound we cant pronounce in english. so ''k'' cannot be pronounced as ''g''. the ''g'' and the ''a'' are related. so are the ''k'' and the ''q''. So you can say ''albi'' or ''galbi'' its the same. but you cannot mix ''albi'' and ''kalbi'' since the ''k'' and the ''a'' are not related.

  • What do you mean saying "albi and galbi" are the same? If I understand what you're saying it's not pronounced albi. It's simply a light "g" sound.

  • its not a light "g", instead its a full "g" that is pronounced. it depends on the accent...in some countries they pronounce albi, in some other it's galbi, with the fully pronounced "g".

  • What do you mean "in some countries?" If it's a full "g" it turns into GALL-bee which is incorrect. Where do they pronounce it "albi?" That's just wrong.

  • Hi. it is not pronounced "gall" bee. you dont pronounce it like you would pronounce "gall' in "gall bladder". It's a different pronounciation, much more like the french would pronounce it. In some countries, they pronounce albi, some its galbi (galbi being the literary way of pronouncing it). Also, in some countries the dialect varies and we replace the "i" in albi by the sound "é" which is a sound found in french (in english i dont know how to show it by writing). So for example, in lebanon,

  • Wait is english your first language? I ask because you don't seem to be understanding what I am saying. I just said it's not supposed to be "gall" bee as in gall bladder. It should be gahl-bee. Also, albi is wrong because it's not the way you're actually supposed to say it. You can't simply drop the g and say that's correct because people mispronounce it.

  • my first language is arabic then french then english am im learning japanese, but i go to an english university. im lebanese. and millions of people say albi and millions say other variations, it's just a matter of dialect. how can you say it's wrong? whether it's correct to you or not is not even a matter of discussion. With all due respect, if you're interested in arabic history and culture, learn about it through books of whatever

  • It's wrong because in the language of origin it's not albi it's galbi. In Korean, the Koreans call it galbi not albi therefore albi is wrong. That's like saying, I can say allo instead of Hello and allo is correct because millions of people mispronounce it. Another example is if I said ismi can also be pronounce smi because people say it incorrectly but since so many of them say it incorrectly it's correct.

  • lol okay

  • sorry but you obviously don't seem to know much about languages and cultures, and nothing at all about the arabic language. meet some arab people, from different countries, get to know your stuff, because what you said to me will demonstrate total ignorance in a real life conversation. i'm not trying to insult, but i mean...why do you take such a stubborn stand; why are you so sure about something that you obviously don't know anything about? anyway i won't respond anymore, you won't learn.

  • What do you mean I don't know anything about? Do you know what galbi is? Galbi is the korean word for ribs. How could it possibly be correct for you to say albi when in Korean it's Galbi? If albi means ribs in arabic that's fine. However, we're talking about "Galbi" a specific Korean dish. Therefore, the correct manner in which to pronounce it would be Galbi not albi. You're missing the point of my previous comment. You're saying to me that because people mispronounce something it's correct.

  • @itwillbealright a word that is pronounced a certain way in a certain language can be pronounced differently in another language. You know, it's different languages after all. Plus, thousands and thousands of words are written the same in different languages, but they are pronounced differently. There are even similar words between the arabic language AND the japanese language, believe it or not. I told you, learn about languages.

  • @WorldOfSnakes oh my god lol wasn't even talking about korean words. I first said that "kalbi" means "my dog" in ARABIC. Yes it means ribs in korean, but i was saying it also means "my dog" in arabic, which no one here can ever dispute get it? Plus I was saying to another user who asked, that "albi" means HEART in ARABIC. Never have I talked about ways to pronounce korean words, since i dont know anything about korean words. the discussion is about arabic words, not korean.

  • people pronounce "albé" and also "albi". In egypt, they pronounce it "galbi".In syria, it's mostly "galbi" and "albi",not "albé".It's dialect differences, just like with many other languages. Also in arabic there is the literary and the spoken language. And they differ a lot. A lot of people (especially the youngsters) cannot understand the literary language, the words are completely different from the words in the spoken language."albi" is not wrong since its widely used in the middle east.

  • i hope this helps lol

  • I dont know how we say it in korean but please dont teach a language to a stranger on youtube when you have limited knowledge of that language.

  • are you serious? im arabic and heart is ''albi'' without a K my friend. see you later my friend!!:)

lllol so funny...no disrespect but learn arabic first man!!

and what does japanese have to do with that? lllol anyway!

If you like little bit of sweet meat, you could always add more of sugar or soy sauce.

    Have a good night ~~

  • Hello Koreancuisine!

Its me again, if i use extra sugar and soy sauce what would be the recommended measurement would you suggest? thanks!

  • Hello!PrettyQuirk,
