  • my church took a trip to participate in the March for Life. it was absolutely amazing!! it is breath taking to see how many people believe in the pro-life movement and so many gathered to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves. and at the vigil mass you could feel the Holy Spirit and the thousands of people crammed in the giant bisicilica was almost unbelievable! and a life changing experience.

  • I was there this year and so can"t wait to go back next year... "BE PRO-LIFE!!"

  • ABORTION WITHOUT APOLOGY

  • Every baby deserves the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

  • We resent that the value of a woman is determined by whether some man wants us, yet we declare that the value of an unborn child is determined by whether someone wants him. We resent that as women we have been 'owned' by our husbands, yet insist that the unborn are 'owned' by us. We believe that a man's right to do what he pleases with his own body cannot include the right to sexually exploit women, yet proclaim a our similar right means we can kill our unborn child

  • @DeanClark68 AMEN!

  • PRO-LIFE ALL THE WAY!!!!!

  • PRO-LIFE.....

  • PRO LIFE!!

  • So proud of all of you who were there...may God bless Obama with the desire and wisdom to follow HIM.

  • If anyone saw a group of about 200 yellow hats that was us

  • I was there also. There was easily more than 200,000 people there. I also went to the mass at the basiclica. If anyone who is reading this was there, I saw a lady that was holding a sign that said the catholic religon is a cult and we are going to hell

  • i saw that too. i also saw a couple teenage guys trying to cover her sign with their own that said "choose life". i applaud them! i was at the mass at the basilica (i hail from the archdiocese of omaha, nebraska)...only i was downstairs. my mom told me she heard from a friend that there was over 350,000 people at the march...what an amazing show of people for life! :)

  • I saw that Lady, I wonder if anyone said anything to her about it.

  • I've been quite a few times with my youth group when I was in high school and every time there were 1st the anti Catholic protesters with signs talking about how evil the Papacy is, then the Pro-Choice advocates yelling at us. Best thing is just pray and walk on by.

  • Young folks, you must stand up to change the law! Your parents' generation is lost to the sins of abortion and sexual gratification outside of marriage, but hope is within your generations. YOU can change things, never give up, no matter what. You don't fight the earthly powers, you fight Satan himself. Remember that, don't be discouraged, always find ways to undermine the abortion industry. Doctors don't want to do abortions any more and that is a huge victory. Yours will be the triumph!

  • We wikll, just wait and see!!!

  • I was there! There were easily 200,000 people!

  • I was there, too. And I agree. I estimate about 200,000, as most reliable sources estimate.

  • i was there, 3rd year. lots of fun to stand up for what i believe

  • I was there, it was GREAT!!! Even though Obam slapped us in the face by not even speaking and reversing the abortion ban...ugh I can't wait until next year!

  • OMG I WAS THERE AND ME AND MY FRIEND SHOVED OUR FACES IN A CAMERA LENSE. that was sooo much fun and i cant wait till next year!!!

  • I WAS THERE!!!!!

  • I was just there It was pack and crowded...

  • And yet now we have a president who voted AGAINST the born-alive infant protection act. How incredibly immoral is that?

    We live in evil times.

  • Actually, if you check your facts, he only voted against it because there was no clause saying that the only way it could be allowed is to save the life of the mother. Had that been included, he would have voted for it.

  • The Born Alive Infant Protection Act called for any baby who survived the violent act of abortion be cared for as any other child born alive. This is what Obama voted against. It had nothing to do with the life of the mother. The child was already out of the womb.

  • You're right. Its sick that he voted against that. For all the pro- choice people that give all this crap saying "the baby isn't alive" can't deny the fact about the baby being alive here ...or during a partial birth abortion.

  • sharondipiazza- that's a different act than I was referring to.

  • What were you referring to?

  • wrong! He voted against it plain and simple. it was reworded three separate occasions so that he could vote for it and yet he still denied it. Those are the facts!

  • Yeah, it was reworded. Never included anything about the mother though.

  • because the man who made Partial-birth abortion the procedure it is today, Martin Haskel, himself said as well as the AMA, that this procedure is never ever necessary to be performed to save the life of the mother. In fact, it is more dangerous to perform this procedure than to deliver a child c-section. This procedure was invented to perform more abortions in one day and to be able to keep the fetuses' organs INTACT as they are killed so that their organs can be sold to labs. FACT!

  • Yeah, i'm from Wisonsin and the bill got passed to Start Partial-birth abortion. Dear God, what has our Nation come too?

  • Wish I could be there.

  • We wish we had one in Canada too

  • Great news! A fight for the right to be born!
