  • muse, nina simone and michael buble are the best versions in my opinion.

all three bring a uniqueness and originality to the song that can't be beaten.

  • Youtube: 3 points. SadowcasterZero: None

  • Fuck, this sounds like Jason Segel singing his Dracula song. This is one of my favourite songs, but this version only gets respect for being the original...it's nothing compared to Nina Simone's or Muse's.

  • @ShadowcasterZero I really hate when people haven't got a clue what they're talking about. Matt Bellamy is one of the last few remaining, truly talented artists. Don't form generalised opinions just because you didn't like one cover version. Seeing Matt live, playing a piano is what I can only imagine, like watching Chopin in his prime. The guy oozes talent from every pore in his body. Even if their music isn't to your taste, it's fucking retarded to say that Muse suck.

  • @ShadowcasterZero

Thank you for sharing your opinion.

  • @ShadowcasterZero I judge what has soul based on the feeling inside when you sing it they way it's sung in the version you are reproducing. Bublé's feels bland, and Nina has an entirely difference essence of age in it. Any other version than muse's makes me feel sad. I ACTUALLY feel refreshed singing Matt's version. Not to say Nina's isn't uplifting, but there is an unspoken sadness there. I like most of all how you assume what the artist intended, then ignore THIS video which I came to respect.

  • I personally Buble's over the rest I've heard, but there are simply too many to name one the best for all tastes. So just enjoy feeling good!

  • i actually think Adam Lambert did the best cover, and i hate that douche. Nina Simone definitely gave it the modern sound we hear in most covers the so kudos to her.

  • muse is with out doubt 110 percent best version

  • michael buble's cover is the best!

  • @TheMelegy14 Thats blasphemy! You cant beat the original

  • I like this a lot..

  • this is my friends great granddad class!

  • No, you're all wrong. The best cover is definitely Frank Sinatra Jr's.

  • I'm sorry but best cover of this song is the Muse version. epic rock twist ftw?

  • OMG please turn this offffffff

  • @musiclover2161 LOL. i can't help laughing at you comment xD

  • @nakz05 i know right. this version is just not good. way to go.

  • @musiclover2161 um whats stopping you? no ones forcing you to listen to this, don't like it then go and listen to whatever you feel like

  • THANK GOD. THANK GOD THANK GOD THANK GOD.. for Nina Simone for making the famous. this version SUX!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I believe michael blue made a very good version of this song

  • @babasteal1 but nothing can touch Nina Simone!

  • I'm gonna go with Muse - they made the best version so far!

  • The band Mahogany with Feeling good is the best.

  • This is a little too subtle for me, and I don't exactly like the lead vocal. To me, this song became amazing only after Nina Simone got a hold of it.

  • Muse did it best.

  • Fuck this is horrible. I'm going back to Muse and Michael Bublé's version.

  • @Staudten Try Nina Simone's version. it is the one that made it famous and the best.

  • WOW! I though Nina's was the original!

However, I still like Pussycat Dolls & Muse Version better!

  • who originally sang this song for everyone to copy, even the pussy cat dolls, thats not right

  • LOL I actually don't like this at all. But I like a couple of the covers that I've heard. Muse, Nina simone, Adam Lambert in particular. This is pretty awful. :)

  • @halag your opinion your taste....all i have to say

  • @halag I agree!! Glamberts FTW!!!

  • Nina Simone did this song justice I think, but that's just me saying.

  • I like The Kin's version best.

Click on the song list. It really is good.

  • @zeBugMan

    deli.thekin.com

Click 5 on the song list to hear it :P

  • Thank you @waltervdbus for the original

  • no puedo creerlo, pense que sólo había una o dos canciones de "Feeling good" y ahora me salen como quinientos cuatro mil sugerencias a mi derecha de todas las versiones!! ...OK esta me aburre..me quedo con Muse!!

  • TimeKillaKlok It's what happens when a cover is better than the original.

  • i heard this first as a cover by my brightest diamond and i think it definitely did it justice

  • is this really the original? hmm..I dont like this version..it is uninteresting.. I am searching for the version I heard in a movie a while ago and it was really nice, more melodic, interesting and strong voice.. usually I like originals more because most of the covers are just crappy but with this song it is different

  • @jablkovastrudla try looking at Micheal Buble maybe he was the one who sang the version you thought....buts its always good to listen to the original to compare

  • @jablkovastrudla Muse did this pretty well. Michael Bublé's version is also good.

  • @VCHmusic thanks, I´ve already found the version I was looking for, it was michael bublé.

  • @jablkovastrudla Actually, the very BEST version of the song is by the man who originally did it on Broadway -- GILBERT PRICE! He had an unbelievably powerful and controlled voice, and won the roll when Anthony Newley (the composer of the song) heard him sing ---even though Newley readily admits he was not "right" for the part, but his voice was the greatest he'd ever heard. The guy was a sensation! Check it out. It's on You Tube.

  • the original is pretty good

  • This is Original, not one of the crappy covers

  • @gevelhet This may be the original version, but to say every cover of this song is crappy is just plain ignorant. This song has been covered many times by many great artists, you can't say every single one of those is bad.

  • @michaelthetimelord I actually think I prefer all of the covers, or atleast the ones by Nina Simone, Muse and Michael Buble.

  • JenniferHudson

  • i knew it was a man who came up with this song! I WIN AGAIN MUHAHAHA!!!

  • oh my. um very sorry but nina simmmones cover was really my favorite out of all the covers of this beauty of a song

  • mm, it's such a great song, but I think what really made it special was nina simone's cover. the trumpets and other instruments, the aggressive rhythm, just made it more amazing :O

  • my favorite cover is michael buble =]

  • i like the cover of nina too

  • (L)

  • All my mainstream friends didn't realise that this was the original, they thought it was Muse, and when I showed them this, one of them said "well there's no proof that this before". Dumb asses

  • @OscarWilkins Tell you friends that it's not like this came out LONG before Muse was even a band..... :P

  • Weird accent lol

  • i loled at this after listening to the others ......because its so good

  • I like the tune more than the singing, very easy to listen to:)

  • Oh. Ok, um, it's different from the others that's for sure. Regardless, I love this song.

  • covers give life back to original versions like this... i wouldn't even be here for that... so don't complan about muse or other artists... that's stupid

  • i thought frank sonatra made the first one... sad face. idk idk. please correct me.

  • @samiadinos nah he did a cover. This is the original. read description.

  • Awww it turns out Haley isn't singing this tonight :(

  • I'm so excited for her... I get nervous everytime when she's about to perform. Go Haley!!! hope you win

  • I'm excited for Haley!

  • Wow this song seems perfect for Haley. Let's hope she does amazing!!!!!!!!

  • Who is here just cause of Haley?? :)

  • Go HALEY :)

  • haley will kill this song yeah!! rock on haley!!

  • Kinda sad to her that Haley's singing this. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE HALEY... but it's been done so much on the show, and Adam had a huge moment with it. I'm really hoping she can pull it off!

Then again... I thought "I Who Have Nothing" was over done and Jordin had a moment with it... but Haley stole that moment! :]

  • oh boy haley gonna sing this to the sky , is perfect for her

  • Most moving version of the song and it's the original - what's the chances of that? ;)

Seriously, it's subtle and restrained unlike a lot of the bombastic covers.

  • I love Nina simones version

  • @DDJJLL96 i lol'd

  • @DDJJLL96 and yet you have no respect for the one who sang it first. Ignorance is bliss ey...Don't get me wrong though, i like Muse and their rendition. Not so many people know this came out of a Musical from 1965 called The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd written by Andrew Newly and Leslie Briscusse.

  • @DDJJLL96 Just because it's different does not mean "it's sucks." It's called "interpretation," if you care to know anything about music.

  • without covers the song would be probably "dead"... but covers give to the songs new life... i mean, muse version is really different, even the melody is different, but look at me, i'm listening this 1965 version and i think it's alright

  • @Scaar81 Isn't it? It's just funny how some people do not know or care where songs come from - ie their history...Frank SInatra also had a version also

  • 12 people are not feeling good.

  • @sphillyguy73 lol :D

  • I actually enjoyed this! I'm a huge fan of the Nina Simone version, but now I want to see this play some how. It's beautiful. Cy Grant's voice is cool and very soft. thanks for posting this.

  • wow, muse did a great job

  • in soviet russia...

  • good but sorry to say the new modern version by Muse or Buble is awesomer..!!

  • @deets795 Nina and Jennifer are better than both of them.

  • Well this was disappointing.

  • I just watched the movie 'The Sea Wife' and decided to look up information on Cy Grant...a talented and distinguished man who just died this year. RIP.

  • and here I thought Gilbert Price sang it first in the musical and then after that Cy Grant was the first one to record it

  • This man is a legend... his rendition of this song is full of emotion, and I really like the arrangement, it adds a certain longing to the lyric, that can often be missed in bang, crash, wallop versions.. He lived ten lives to most men's one! RIP MR. GRANT XX

  • Cy Grant was a hero and should have more recognition.

Maybe not the best vocal performance of this song but he does sing it with heart and soul. I like the accompaniment with the vocal as it is very much of it's time.

  • Muse is better...

  • Ive been looking for this since january.. thanks for uploading. Helped with my essay (Y)

  • in terms of standard it was good for it's day but in terms of the modern age of music it is... how do i put it... shit, sort of like hallelujah by lenoard cowen, im not trying to dis originals im just stating the facts

  • @DrinkOmally I can't agree with that... It's just a different, lighter feel than more recent music. Depending on my moods, I might prefer listening to this than to some more recent version, and I'm 16 so its not nostalgia or anything...

  • @MintBullet if there were no instruments in it it would be fine but the band sound like they are playing a completely different song entirely

  • its sad how the original version goes un-noticed

  • @TimeKillaKlok

Word up, even though this is far from my favorite version, but I still agree that it should be given more recognition.

  • @TimeKillaKlok

What is more sad is that Nina Simone gets credited for writing this. She's a very talented artist, but this is something else...

  • @TimeKillaKlok it really is

i mean i have hear every version of this song and i have been listing to it for years

and i love it and that's me just hearing this for the first time

  • @TimeKillaKlok

It is unnoticed but it's not at the same time because

    Nina Simone made a cover

Michael Buble made a cover and

    Muse made a cover

it's just that the covers overshadow the original it's still very good.

  • @TimeKillaKlok it's sad indeed yes this is not the best version i think.

  • @TimeKillaKlok : up until 5 mintutes ago, I always assumed the original was by Nina Simone
