I go to school in Texas. In Dallas/ Ft Worth, to be exact. This school is not far from mine. I identify as part of the LGBT community. I'm glad to say that not all of Texan schools are like this one. When I came out, I received love and support from my family, friends, and peers. There is a Gay Straight Alliance at my school, and I'm proud to belong to such an accepting school.

Suspension seems a bit extreme. Technically, there are no "boy clothes" or "girl clothes", and making a situation such as this a big deal may have traumatizing aftereffects on that boy(?). As long as he realizes that he is not a woman, nor could ever be a woman, as not even the most advanced augmentative procedures can completely change one sex to the other, and has some sort of identification on him that doesn't cause confusion, he could dress in a chicken outfit for all it matters.

@TheEscapedBalloon Then the term, "trans" should not apply. That term, by literal definition, means "to change", not simply "being". It may not seem important but it is in reality. You use certain words to let other know where you are coming from. When those words are improperly used, then it misleads the listener and more confusion persists. Clarity is what you really want, especially in these circumstances. Just sayin. .

@TheEscapedBalloon The word seems to give the impression of change which took place. It doesn't appear to have eternal tense. I don't mean to split hairs about it. It's just that the media has long since robbed the masses of crystal clarity on many issues, especially this one and other like it. And I get this irresistable urge to weigh in on every damn thing, seemingly. It may not be the case but his mom seems like she's all he's got and vise versa. wait til you go to college, there's a pitiful excuse for a 'dress code' i have seen, no lie, 4 cross-dressing males who for a long while i legitimately thought were women, and 2 cross-dressing females, who for a period of time i thought were men. It's dumb to say women can wear men's clothes but men can't wear women's, though i think it's wrong, double standards are equally as wrong.

Suspension seems a bit extreme. Technically, there are no "boy clothes" or "girl clothes", and making a situation such as this a big deal may have traumatizing aftereffects on that boy(?). As long as he realizes that he is not a woman, nor could ever be a woman, as not even the most advanced augmentative procedures can completely change one sex to the other, and has some sort of identification on him that doesn't cause confusion, he could dress in a chicken outfit for all it matters.

im a crossdresser and have been from age 2 when my mum took me shopping to get me some new clothes i wanted dresses and would thro a tantrum till she gave in and bought me them and dressing like a girl has never stopped i went all the way though school and i now live and work as a woman but i will never go all the way with getting breast implants and stuff
