She's ugly for a reason- in the song the person is recalling a lost love. In the picture the person is drawing out a memory. But when he gets to the end he realizes that she's gone and gets angry and just draws an ugly face. That's also why the face is drawn much faster than the other parts of the body, which you can see are drawn out slowly and with care.

First of all, I love the song. It is spectacualar and the feel of the drawing just fits.

The drawing is lovely as well for the most part. I was expecting it to be noodle. And maybe it is, but she has the face of the Baba Yaga. Yet the body of a model. Anyhow, its a bit odd and it would be make more sense if she looked... human. Lol. Maybe its symbolic and I'm just not getting it though. Sorry if thats the case.
