Saw them @ Nita's Hideaway in Tempe, which no longer exists. The club, not the town. August 2000. How many bands' lead theremin player would do a Hendrix to his instrument at the end of the first set? How many bands even have more than 1 theremin player?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the introduction of the this song, sounds to me very similar to "the socialist" from the second album of PIL, in famous "Metal Box"
Wish I could teleport back to the 3 times I saw them live in AZ; better yet, hope the long awaited DVD of live shows will be produced someday! The astroboys worked damned hard all those years and they deserve earthly lives, but some of us need some video fixes!

These guys used to put on the best low-budget live show. I saw them whenever they would pass through Albuquerque!

This is actually the first of their "songs" that I ever heard...(songs have words...but calling it a "piece" just doesn't feel right...)

I thought they still existed! Their site doesn't say anything about them having split up?

They aren't together any more - unfortunately. Probably on "indefinite hiatus"...
